Product Details

Using a beautiful float-stitching technique to create curved patterns at the yoke, we've given this crew-neck jumper plenty of traditional character.

This piece is designed using Donegal yarns, which have been spun and dyed in Ireland to achieve the flecks and neps that set the fabric apart.

A purl knit at the neckline, cuffs and hem provides an extra touch of contrast. Pop it on with our lounge pants for relaxing at home and just add denim for heading out into nature.

  • Donegal pure new wool
  • Crew neckline
  • Float-stitch detailing
  • Purl-knit accents

Product code: 7822

Material

Made with 100% Donegal Wool: Loaded with colourful character, the Donegal wool we use is carefully selected to ensure it meets exacting standards. With up to six individual colours in the yarn (plus an additional seven or eight little flecks dotted along the surface), Donegal wool manages to balance rustic charm with luxurious softness, showcasing the style of some of our chunkier pieces to perfection.

Fully traceable guaranteed non-mulesed Donegal wool.

Care

Hand wash only in cold water using Celtic Wool Wash. For more detailed instructions please see the care label.

When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool.

Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.

To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.

Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments.

Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

This is my fourth Celtic jumper (it’s supposed to be a Christmas present..) but I might have a job not wearing it before the 25thDec..!! The quality, warmth & comfort of all your clothes, is exceptional. Buy less, but buy the best.. & that’s Celtic Clothing.. Thank you.. ❤️👍

Really really pleased with my gorgeous new jumper. The colours are lovely and the wool is so soft. I bought large in all three of my jumpers and as a 16/18 they fit perfectly. Would buy them all if I could!!

Really disappointing! I bought the flecked funnel neck donegal wool a couple of years ago - the size s fitted perfectly and the yarn was soft and warm....what a difference to this jumper that has just arrived: Firstly the size S is enourmous, but also the yarn feels much thinner and really harsh compared to my other purchase. It does not feel nice to wear at all. I'm afraid it is going straight back. I also agree with other comments - this kind of yoke styling should always be knitted on a circular needle, to have 4 seams on the neckine is messy and cheap looking. Obviously a cost saving on production that is not reflected in the price. As I say....hugely disappointing

Thank you for your review Debi we are sorry you were so disappointed with your jumper, we will be passing all your comments on to the relevant departments. Kindest regards CelticandCo.

What a fab jumper, I love the colours and they're better with my darker tanned skin. I am a size 14-16, 5 ft 10 inches tall with longish limbs. The Medium fits perfectly, a little loose and the arms are a good length but not too long. Always wear a long sleeved Tee-shirt underneath. This is my favourite jumper so far, I always buy one new jumper from Celtic each year. The first is at least 12 years old and still perfectly lovely to wear!
