Product Details

Using a beautiful float-stitching technique to create curved patterns at the yoke, we've given this crew-neck jumper plenty of traditional character.

This piece is designed using Donegal yarns, which have been spun and dyed in Ireland to achieve the flecks and neps that set the fabric apart.

A purl knit at the neckline, cuffs and hem provides an extra touch of contrast. Pop it on with our lounge pants for relaxing at home and just add denim for heading out into nature.

  • Donegal pure new wool
  • Crew neckline
  • Float-stitch detailing
  • Purl-knit accents

Product code: 7822

Material

Made with 100% Donegal Wool: Loaded with colourful character, the Donegal wool we use is carefully selected to ensure it meets exacting standards. With up to six individual colours in the yarn (plus an additional seven or eight little flecks dotted along the surface), Donegal wool manages to balance rustic charm with luxurious softness, showcasing the style of some of our chunkier pieces to perfection.

Fully traceable guaranteed non-mulesed Donegal wool.

Hand wash only in cold water using Celtic Wool Wash. For more detailed instructions please see the care label.

When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool.

Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.

To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.

Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments.

Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

I first noticed this make on the Marks & Spencer's site as part of their Brands. The ladies and mens jumpers are all very attractive and between myself and my partner we have bought 5 of them. (Some from M&S, some from your site). It wasn’t just the designs or the colourful wool combinations that attracted us to them but the very large Union Jack, Made in Britain label that you can’t miss when you go to the Celtic & Co website. So pleased we were to be able to buy British made, attractive goods, great for the UK industry. So imagine our shock when we read the labels on our jumpers; ‘Made in Romania/Made in Portugal’. Taking a closer look on the website, there are places where ‘Made in the EU, is visible, but this is just confusing. Sorry Celtic & Co but we are very disappointed at the misleading statements and will, sadly think twice about buying again or even recommending your jumpers. Nothing wrong about buying from the EU but we would like to support the UK economy.

Thank you for your valued review. We are very sorry that you feel our website was not clear enough regarding where the items are made. We have passed your feedback over to our Marketing Team. Kindest Regards Celtic & Co

I’m usually a 14-16 and I bought a medium after reading other reviews. Very pleased with the fit and the jumper but think the neckline construction could be improved.

Good afternoon and thank you for your review, we appreciate all our customer feedback. Kindest regards Celtic and Co.

I treated myself to the cream version last year; this navy version is true to illustration, true to size (14), good colours, lightweight, cosy and comfortable to wear.

The yoke stitching is lovely but one of the seams on the neckline has not been sewn very well and is knobbly. In addition the yarn seems quite thin. I have returned as I don't think the item is worth what I have paid.

Thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear that on this occasion you were not satisfied with your purchase. Thank you for returning the item to us. Kind regards Celtic & Co
