Half coat, half cardigan, our Donegal buckle-detail coatigan is the kind of piece you turn to over and over again. Designed in rich Donegal wool with intricate cabling throughout, this cosy design features a nickel buckle and leather strap with a slightly grained texture. The coatigan is fastened with a popper situated just above the buckle, perfect for wrapping up in the evenings.
Pull it on with blue denim, a chunky roll-neck and your favourite low-top sneakers, and plunge those chilly hands deep into the open pockets at the side. With this hybrid style in your rotation, you'll be longing for cool days.

Made with 100% Donegal Wool: Loaded with colourful character, the Donegal wool we use is carefully selected to ensure it meets exacting standards. With up to six individual colours in the yarn (plus an additional seven or eight little flecks dotted along the surface), Donegal wool manages to balance rustic charm with luxurious softness, showcasing the style of some of our chunkier pieces to perfection.

Care
Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

I have this in a Grey with Blue specks (Seafoam), and it’s gorgeous. But most of all I love how it falls when you fasten it; hugs my body comfortably - not tight, but just right. I ordered my usual Celtic size, and it fits perfectly.
I got the navy, and it is gorgeous. It feels really special. I especially like the fit and length of the sleeves. I want to buy a chunky belt to cinch it in at the waist. I'm thrilled with this purchase. It's my favorite Celtic & co purchase so far, and I bought a fair few items.
Relieved to say am delighted with it. I bought this in claret as a Christmas gift for my sister, who feels the cold dreadfully so needs wrapping up in warm clothes. I chose this as it is stylish, too, with the buckle detail to secure the high collar around the neck. So glad she loved it!

This is the third one of these coatigans that I've bought. Loved them all, but this one surpasses the others in its glorious colour! They are all fabulous for keeping warm in our caravan in Wales, but also at home in Liverpool. Cosy and comfortable, just fantastic!

I just bought this. I love the colour and the shape. I got The large. It’s too itchy for just a T Shirt so I hope it will be ok with a shirt or thin jumper underneath. It’s quite light weight which is great, I didn’t want something really heavy. Quite pricey really but it’s good quality and a classic favourite. I love it. ❤️❤️

I so much wanted to like this - had been looking for a warm, heavy-duty cardigan/jacket for a long time. Like a previous reviewer, I was concerned about the loose knit for such a weighty garment, and in the end, I sent it back. It was lovely in every other respect.
I bought the cardigan as a gift for my partner. She absolutely loves it. Most importantly, I got the size right. A small is perfect for a 10/12. The quality is outstanding and it will be a ‘go to’ piece for many years.
