Care
Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewThe jumper has a lovely quality and is very soft, but I am sending it back. It runs very big in size (both wide and long, also its sleeves, and I'm quite tall), so that it looks baggy and a bit shapeless on me. The colour (icelandic blue) is honestly a bit dull in my opinion, I would have preferred a richer, deeper colour - but that's personal of course. I might order a different colour in a smaller size as I love the neckline - not sure about it yet.
Delighted with this recent purchase from Celtic. I took it on a road trip this month when the weather was changing daily from chilly to warm in a few hours and it was perfect. Not too hot, but not cold either. The fit is lovely and I like the slouch neck which can, or not, be a hood.
Love this relaxed slouchy sweater. The collar can be worn anyway you want it, draped, rolled or even hooded etc. The length is spot on for me as is the arm length (hate short sleeves leaving you pulling on them constantly). I'm size 12-14 so ordered a medium and it is a lovely fit. Love the colour and the feel of the wool. Looking forward to wearing this a lot through spring!
beautiful jumper for early spring, lovely wool feel, perfect thickness (not too chunky, not thin), beautiful vibrant colour (amber), super shape and cowl also turns to hood.
I really like the neckline of this jumper it falls very flatteringly around the neck. The jumper is vey cozy to wear and a nice length with jeans, and it has my favourite rolled hems and sleeves, the ember is a really nice warm rust colour. All round a lovely jumper. MORE JUMPERS WITH ROLLED EDGES PLEASE!
Absolutely gorgeous jumper… it is soft enough to wear next to skin and the colour is so warm looking. I have had a navy version of this for 7 years and is has been my favourite jumper for warmth , comfort and style. I got the Ember one on special offer which made it affordable for me.
I now have 2 of these cos they’re warm, snuggly, good length in arms and body, don’t bobble, handwash by choice then rinse & spin with no problems, dry in warm room - no shrinkage that way. Have had 1 since early 2024. May have to buy another, they go either everything
It's fine, but I'd just like a couple more inches in the body length. Sleeves are fine for me.
This is my first purchase from Celtic & Co, and I chose them because I wanted to buy from an ethical, sustainable and more importantly British company. I bought this jumper in pillarbox red, which is a great colour for me. I am between a size 10 -12 and I was unsure whether to buy the Small or the Medium. I chose Size Small and I'm really glad I did because it fits perfectly. The length is just right, covers my bottom but doesnt swamp the rest of me. I hadn't heard of Geelong wool before, but it is warm and very soft to wear, the quality is lovely. The neck adds style and sits nicely. Fast Delivery too. I would recommend this jumper and this company to anyone thinking of purchasing. I shall be buying from them again. Thanks
Really love this jumper. It’s thicker than I thought and good quality. I sized up as wanted a more slouchy look and I can layer it without it looking bulky. I think my usually size would have been fine , if I’d wanted a more fitted look. Length is good and sleeves are extra long which is a look that I like.
