Midi-Celt-Kilt

J'attendais ce kilt avec impatience (je savais qu'il lui faudrait un certain temps pour arriver en Normandie) et je suis très contente de mon achat, la couleur fidèle à la photo du site est très belle, la qualité du tartan est parfaite pas trop épaisse mais assez lourde pour un beau tombé, la fabrication impeccable . Aimant les vêtements bien coupés et qui durent cette jupe correspond vraiment à mes attentes. Pour le choix de la taille, je me suis référée à la grille et c'est très bien .

This is my 5th or 6th Celt Kilt. They are very comfortable and much warmer than trousers.

I bought this for my daughter, she was thrilled with it when it arrived.

Beautiful skirt and just the right length for me. The quality of the skirt is excellent and will become part of my wardrobe each winter for years.

I ordered the size 14 in the kilt and although I could get in on I felt the fit was a little snug so sent back for next size up which fitted much better. Good heavy weight material. Lined inside for comfort.

This kilt was lovely and really good quality. It was a bit short for me and sat on the knee rather than midi length so sadly returned. I will look for a longer length.

Quite simply the best fitting skirt I have ever tried on. With a small waist, and a pear shape, skirts have never fitted at both waist and hips until this kilt. The adjustable leather straps and the useful velcro to join inside at the waist allow this beautifully made skirt to be adjusted. The Kingfisher plaid is lovely for coordinating with blues/greens/pale pink and neutrals. The midi length is just perfect. DELIGHTED!

I checked the Celtic size chart before ordering and it said I needed a size 14. It fits perfectly and there is adjustment at the waist anyway, which is always useful. The tweed is a fabulous quality and I like the navy charcoal colourway which should coordinate with most things. It's nice and warm and a good length for me.

I sent for a midi. It's on the knees the one I got. No paper work to return. Only Lewis bag

I was wondering about sizing as I am normally a size 6 and I know Celtic clothes often come up large. Anyway, the size 8 fits perfectly with plenty of room for tops to tuck in. Also , the length is perfect,even though I am only 5 ft 1 in. I have teamed it with biker jacket and boots for an up to date look

A lovely skirt but sadly too short.

I really wanted a kilt this winter - they are timeless, but trying to find a midi one was difficult, until I came here. I ordered the Cairngorm Heath colourway. Beautiful material and excellently made. There are a lot of short knee length kilts about this season, but for a lady of a certain age, I needed a midi kilt. This is perfect - incredible quality and the pattern/colour is a classic. I have worn it to work with black tights and ballet pumps. Felt a million dollars and got loads of compliments. Will be worn again and again. Overall I am very pleased with the service. Sustainable packaging too, with no plastic, which we preferred in this home.

I haven’t worn the kilt yet but I’ve tried it on and l love it. Over the years I have accumulated a great deal of clothing from Celtic, jackets, coats, jumpers, cardigan’s and slippers, l haven’t disposed one single item, the stuff lasts. I go for quality over quantity and Celtic provide this.

Beautiful soft colours, comfy to wear, the size and length are great for me. The pure wool will keep me warm in winter and cool when it’s warmer weather. Lovely quality and a bonus that I bought it at an amazing sale price.

The pictures don't show the true glory of the complex colours in the wool - gorgeous! I will enjoy wearing this kilt.

I was a little concerned this might be too long on me as I'm only 5'2", but actually I love the length. The fit is very neat, not 'relaxed' unlike some other items I've had in a size 10 from your company, but it fits perfectly. Definitely go for your usual size. The quality is excellent. The fabric is beautiful and now I'm so excited for autumn so I can wear it!

Love this item, excellent quality and not too 'heavy weight' as to be uncomfortable to wear and look stiff. Arrived in Australia 7 business days from order, very pleased :) I hesitated around which size to order as I am a UK 8-10 except around my waist which measures 30". I didnt want to order a huge size to match my waist in case it was too large on hips. Anyway, I ended up ordering a size 10. It fits fine and looks perfect and buckles fasten up exactly as they were when it arrived. Lots of adjustment with waist size because it also has an internal piece of velcro along the waistline instead of the usual internal button/button hole fastening, and hips fit as they should. My point is, they come up true to size but have ability to go larger around the waist.

After phoning in I opted for an 18. I could have got away with a 16 but it might then not hang so well. I am delighted with this kilt, a bottom my size does not need all those pleats across it. The quality is excellent and the fabric is divine.

I am a little disappointed on the length as the picture shows the model at calf length, and the kilt is knee length when the description said MIDI!!!

Cairngorms kilt Brave Beautiful quality, fully lined wrap around skirt. I’m normally a size 8 but ordered the size 10 and very pleased with the fit. However, my order was sent to an incorrect address which I took the time to sort resulting in saving time and expense to Celtic & Co After sales - very disappointing maybe a discount code against a further purchase would have been nice for my time and costs to sort !!!

Way better quality than I was expecting. Great colours and just what I was after for a warm winter skirt, standing on train station platform getting cold.

I’m an 8 but found that the 10 fitted perfectly for the look I wanted. If you want the kilt to look more trendy, I think fitting a little lower on the waist works well allowing a jumper to be slightly tucked in one side therefore sitting right for the look. If I’d have gone for an 8 the waist band would have fitted much higher giving the skirt a completely different look. If anybody watched traitors and saw what Claudia Winklemans kilt that she worn then you would get the same modern look.

Perfect! A real gem! Buy one size down but snap it up, you won't regret it. Lined for comfort. Just gorgeous. Compliments all the time!

I was so excited about receiving this kilt. I’m normally a 10/12 but ordered it in a 10 as many of the comments said it came up large. Unfortunately the 10 was too small (I have small hips but not the corresponding small waist), so I’ve had to return this. Bit of a shame as it was gorgeous and I was looking forward to wearing it. I’ve now reordered in a 12 … just a bit sad that it’s on back order and that I won’t receive it for 8 weeks.

Had been looking for a quality kilt to wear a lot over winter. I chose Celtic & Co. Whilst I think it’s good quality, I hardly ever wear it and always regret it when I do. It looks great but it’s scratchy and irritates my legs when I sit or drive in it. The rough fabric drives me crazy and I can’t feel the roughness even when I wear a slip under it. I wish I’d returned it straight away.

Beautiful kilt. Beautiful material. Perfect midi length making it attractive and elegant. I've had difficulty finding an adjustable skirt that still fits elsewhere, as I don't have a flat tummy... this kilt is perfect for me... very comfortable. I'm so pleased with it. A great purchase!

Having admired the images of this skirt I decided to buy it. Reviews stated it ran large so I ordered my usual size 10 and 8. The goods arrived quickly but as stated they ran large. I needed a size 8. The material was quite thin but the waist band was rather thick. I liked the fastening but I felt that added to the bulk, it wasn’t very flattering. Although a midi length it was shorter than I would have liked. I am 5ft 4. All in all for the price which I thought was quite expensive, the fit and the material I couldn’t justify the purchase.
