Want to upgrade your gift? This slipper can be personalised, simply let us know the name of your loved one and we'll stamp it on in silver or gold foil. Why stop there? With options for ladies and kids, the whole family can kick back in style!

Also available in ladies' and kids' sizes.

When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.

      Care

30 degree gentle machine wash. Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.

Nicely made but much too small. Had to return

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your feedback. We're glad you liked the quality, and we're sorry they didn't fit. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like assistance with sizing or a different size. We hope to serve you better next time!

My second pair. I cannot find fault in these amazing slippers. As the instructions said, they are "snug" to start with but given a day they are like "personally tailor made". The build quality is second to none. I do believe we don't pay enough attention to our feet; we use and abuse them without realising how important they are. Sure, they are expensive but as my mum always says (she's 94), "you get what you pay for". One question -should I apply a "protector" to the outer sheepskin?

Thank you for your order, we are delighted to here you are so pleased with the Slippers. These have already been pre treated so no need to apply a protector spray just yet. They are machine washable, if you do wash them its a good idea to spray afterwards. We hope you enjoy them. Kind regards Celtic & Co.

Recieved as a Christmas gift, they were tight at first but they give and now they fit well, My biggest problem is the sole, it is hard, I do mean hard, I got my fiancé to check to make sure I wasn't going crazy and she agreed it's like walking on hardwood or cardboard, the wool is so thin on the sole it's like it's not there and this made wearing them uncomfortable. Given the price this is a big disappointment and we're now past the return date due to them being bought in advance for Christmas so now I'm having to hunt for insoles to make slippers comfy when I had £20 Tesco slippers that had better insoles

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re so sorry to hear that the slippers haven’t been as comfortable as you’d hoped — that’s certainly not what we want for our customers, especially when they’re chosen as a gift. Our slippers are crafted from natural fibres and designed to mould to your feet over time, but we completely understand how disappointing it must feel if the sole isn’t giving you the comfort you expected. Your feedback is really valuable, and we’ll make sure it’s passed on to our product team for review. Kind regards Celtic & Co

Really liking these slippers, snug at first but as explained they will loosen up after a few wears. Good to support a quality uk made company which to me is important, as my dad says, buy cheap buy twice and I think these will be lasting quite a while!

Had purchased a pair previously that were extremely warm on my feet. This prompted me to purchase another pair. I have to say that I am disappointed as these are not as warm and cosy as my last pair. My feet are so much colder in this new pair. Do not feel therefore that I have had value for money as previous.. So disappointed. I usually find quality exceptional especially in everything else I have purchased.

Thank you for sharing this with us — I’m really sorry to hear that your new pair hasn’t lived up to the warmth and cosiness you enjoyed before. That’s definitely not the experience we want for you, especially as you’ve trusted us for quality in the past. Our slippers are crafted from natural sheepskin, which is usually wonderfully insulating, but there can be slight variations in the density of the fleece as it’s a natural material. If your new pair feels noticeably less warm, it may not meet our usual standards, and we’d like to put that right for you. If you’d like, you can return them for a full refund or exchange. Kind regards

They seem Smaller than usual, my husband has previously had several pairs. Will Need to reorder so no discount or free postage, and will arrive whilst we are away on holiday. Disappointed and inconvenient

Thank you for letting us know — I can completely understand how inconvenient that feels, especially when you’ve bought several pairs before and expected the sizing to be consistent. Our slippers are handmade using natural sheepskin, so there can be slight variations in fit from batch to batch. If they feel smaller than usual, the best option is to return them for a refund and reorder the size that works best for your husband. This way, you’ll secure the right fit straight away. Our apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment caused. Kind regards

I'm so glad to have found Celtic & Co again. I bought a pair of slippers here more than six years ago. I'm wearing them right now as I do all day, almost every day. After all this time there is only one loose stitch on the heel. They are durable, the quality is outstanding and I'm buying another pair.

I decided to buy these from your menswear range of slippers rather than your women’s as I did have a feeling that that your men’s range might be a little larger now that my feet need a wider kind of footwear. I am usually a women’s size seven and a half so I did follow your advice to size down although when this style arrived, they were far too small. I have returned them and instead bought a size 8 and these do fit perfectly. I feel that these are perfect for me now that the cold weather is here once again.

Have purchased these for my husband in preparation for winter as he suffers from extremely cold feet. They were tight to get on as expected but will ease with wear. The slippers are well made with good sole and very warm and comfortable, we are looking forward to winter!

I bought these slipper boots for my husband as he always has cold feet and needs good quality sheepskin slippers. They are very warm and cosy, and the quality is good. The fit is a little too snug at the moment but should ease with more wear

This is my second pair of the same style as the first one got accidentally covered in oil. Very pleased with the purchase.

Bought to replace my original Celtic & Co slippers that were falling apart after 4 years! I opted for the men's black & grey as I preferred these more neutral colours to the women's styles. Very high quality and cosy, feel snug to start with but they settle into a perfect fit. Look smart, love that they are made in the UK. There was some shedding of the sheepskin lining to start with. They are expensive but worth it if they last as long as my previous pair!

Great quality footwear that lasts a long time especially because I am disabled in a wheelchair wear then all day inside & outside. A good price considering how high the quality is.

The materials and construction are all top notch. I've been wearing these slippers daily for two weeks now. They're warm but not too warm. Like a hug for your feet. While you can find cheaper slippers, to get something like this with materials and construction in the UK, is an excellent value.

Incredibly warm. I've had cold feet for years, but not anymore. The sole was a little firm at first, but loosened up very quickly. The sole is fairly thick as well, to insulate from cold floors. Highly recommended for cold feet.

This is the third pair of Celtic bootee slippers which my husband has had. They are ideal for him as he is a diabetic with Raynaud's syndrome and his feet get very cold. They last extremely well, and he says they are blissfully comfortable.

Great quality slippers for a great price considering the very high quality of the slippers. They are warm and very comfortable.

My wife has enthused about Celtic slippers for many years so I decided to try some myself. Initially the slippers felt a little tight but have eased with wearing. I am delighted with the warmth, comfort, quality and look of this product. I feel the sole is supportive and hardwearing. The cost is rather high but looks like it will prove to be a good investment.

I was fed up with much cheaper, "made in China" slippers which didn't fit well or last very long so I decided to go "up market" . I decided to shop online as most high street retailers have such a limited range and usually cheaper foreign imports. I wanted quality and to buy British....something we should all try to do these days, in my opinion. So, to the slippers.........beautifully made, a little tight at first but very soon bed in to a really comfortable, warm experience. I have only had them a week or two but so far, very impressed. I did jib a little at the cost but they really are top quality, although I cannot comment on durability as yet........but I do not anticipate being disappointed on this aspect of the product. Well done Celtic, 5 stars, the Best of British.

I splashed out on these slippers for my teenage son, (and another similar pair for myself), for Christmas last year. He has worn them almost daily now for over a year and I thought that I would come back and report. As we live in a very old house in the country with all stone and wood floors, prone to being draughty and chilly for three seasons of the year, slippers have a demanding job to do. My son is severely disabled and is at home a lot, and so can wear them for up to 17 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unlike all his other slippers over the years, these have proved to be more than up to the job. They were much too tight when they first arrived, but I took the advice for him to wear them and within a couple of days they had relaxed a bit and were an extremely comfortable and excellent fit. My advice is therefore to order your usual size and don't be put off by the initial over-tightness. They then don't come off like many other slippers and have a good, hardwearing sole, and I think this must reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls. Being a natural material, they have stayed fresh - despite typical teenage boy feet - and I have only had to wash them once during the year. I washed them in the machine on gentle and cool using a little Dri-pak Pure Liquid Soap and they came up like new. Washing also tightened them up again a little bit, which after a year's wear was a good thing, and while they were damp I also used my fingertips to floof the flattened insoles up again. The only down side was him being without them for the couple of days it took for them to dry naturally. He likes them that much, and they are so good for his feet, that I even find myself packing them for him for cottage holidays. I have never spent as much as this on slippers before but it has been worth it. They have kept his feet warm through three chilly seasons yet also cool in the summer. They are made to last and this means that I'm not spending money replacing them, which is good for the environment as well as my purse. I am left wondering just how long they will last, as after over a year of almost daily wear and a whiz around the washing machine, they are still pretty much as I bought them. He and his feet need a little extra TLC as a severely disabled person and these slippers are just perfect for him. They cocoon his feet in comfort. Well done, Celtic & Co.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We are very pleased to hear that you are happy with your purchase and have found suitable slippers. Kindest regards, Celtic & Co. team.

I bought these for my partner but will unfortunately be returning. They felt extremely tight . Also we found the lining to be not very soft and fluffy but rather a foamy type material which looked quite cheap. Not what we expected for the price (a shame as the sheep skin part of the skipper is so nice)
