Hand wash only in cold water using Celtic Wool Wash. For more detailed instructions please see the care label.
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.
To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.
Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

Write a reviewPurchased this cardigan last year ? I think . Worn twice ,totally gone out of shape and drappy effect . Never washed it . Hanging in wardrobe ,no quality to it at all .I have had many jumpers from this firm , all perfectly fine , but this was a complete waste of my money .

So happy to buy a totally British product with little environmental impact( & none from the dying process, as I bought the natural taupe colour.) I have been wearing this cardigan through the winter so now feel I can give a measured opinion. If I am truthful it does bobble a little , but I collect the bits (which will be used in my needle felting craft or as nesting material for the birds, because it is SAFE). I wear this frequently as a very cosy extra layer over all colours of polo-necked jumpers, as I feel the cold and am delighted to have an easy zipper fastening. I have only washed it once by hand as I want to take care of it, but I believe it is possible to machine wash on a programme intended for such garments. It's easy to spot clean and has been rain resistant when I was caught out in drizzle, being natural wool.
Lovely colour and cardigan but as several people have already commented the bobbling after only 1 or 2 wears is appalling

Thank you for your review, pilling occurs more often in natural fibres as they have not been chemically treated to prevent it. Regular de-pilling using either a comb or electric de fuzzer will help to prevent this. Kind regards Celtic & Co
I haven't ever had a sweater that shed some much from Celtic & Co. The sweater will ball up, but the way is looses its fibers on your other clothing is like having a pet and I don't have any pets. And the fibers seem to not wash off of the clothing that you wore with this sweater. If you don't mind this aspect about this sweater, than purchase it. It is soft and warm.

Thank you for your review, our British Wool garments do have a more rustic handle to them and have looser fibres. If you pop the garment in a plastic bag and put in the freezer for a few hours this can help eliminate this. I hope this helps, thank you for taking the time to review. Kind regards Celtic & Co
A bit tickly around the neck! Starting to pill already but I like it very much!
This is my new favourite cardigan. It is delightfully soft, a neat shape and has a subtle cable design. As it isn’t heavyweight, the cardigan drapes well over the body but still manages to feel snug and warm.
Lovely cardigan in a beautiful rose colour. Soft and cosy but not too heavy. I like the zip feature, gives the cardigan a slightly modern air. Rose colour is amazing over black-perfect for winter days.
I love this cardigan and wear it most of the time in this chilly summer! I love the fact it’s British wool and made in Britain, well done Celtic & Co for supporting our farmers. Love the natural colour too. I have marked it down one star because the zip is a bit tricky and has to be precisely lined up to work. Thank you for a great product.
I received this sweater as a Christmas giftt but actually picked it out myself. I was very much looking forward to the zipped cardigan. I was a little disappointed at the loose sizing and bulky zipper but thought I would get lots of wear out of it. After two wearing ( and no washings) the sweater looked tired already with multiple pills on the arms and body. I did report my dissatisfaction to the company and was given a lesson in real wool and how it wears which was no help at all ( I’m 68 and know a thing or two about real wool). Sorry to say that I cannot recommend this garment or the company’s level of customer service.

I enjoy wearing this cardigan, it fits well and it's useful to have a zip instead of buttons. My only complaint is that it sheds a lot of fibre so you have to be careful what you wear it with and keep a lint roller nearby. I'm not a believer in washing jumpers often but perhaps when I do it will sort out the shedding.
