A lovely light cardigan, which I can where in all seasons. I love it.
As others have noted this wool is much scratchier (than my beautiful Donegal jumper which I can wear next to my skin). It's mainly in the pattern area that the wool is harsher. But I love the colour (Sage), design, buttons and fit, and hope it washes as well as the Donegal.
Lovely cardigan, beautiful colours and pattern, looks equally pretty with jeans or a smart skirt. Agree with the previous review the neck is a little tight in that you can’t put it on like a jumper but have to un-button the top button but once it is on it is fine and sits nicely. Also I found the cuffs quite tight too, no give in them at all.however these are just minor things for me and just for your info as they don’t detract from the cardi itself. I’m a good size 12 and the small is perfect for me. It is a boxy shape but the drape is lovely so it sits nicely just on the hips. The wool is slightly scratchy, more so than my float yoke jumpers, but I always wear knitwear with a long sleeved silk vest so it’s fine and it will hopefully settle when I hand wash it.. Beautifully warm looks lovely on, I am pleased with it.
I have loved my mineral tipped Donegal hooded coatigan and thought I needed something a bit more spring /summer like. I've been keeping my eye on this cardigan in navy - loved the brighter banding and finally took the plunge. It's a great shape and length and I like its slightly boxy shape. Not worn yet but looking forward to doing so.
