My first purchase from Celtic&Co and a glowing review for my dress and for this company. Dress is warm, soft (not prickly) and very cosy. Just below knee. Sleeves are generously long and ribbed cuffs are also at sufficient length to keep sleeves up securely if needed. Top quality wool. Preferred claret colour, but it was sold out at the time of purchase and though happy with derby grey, I will definitely consider another purchase if claret version comes back in stock. However, it's Celtic&Co I want to rave about most of all. The garment was packaged without any plastic in sight! There were no stupid metal safety pins holding label on the garment and the instruction/details tag inside the dress is also printed on natural fibres and is easy to unpick. No over the top packaging, no "hard sale" glossy material, paper envelope - the package with it's content simply understated and as sustainable as it can be. Quality over quantity. Love it!

This dress is lovely. It's very soft, has a lovely quality feel to it. I bought size small. If I wanted a more fitted look, XS would have been best but I wanted to be sure I could get a shirt/polo neck underneath it and I don't want it to cling in any areas! So, the small was just right. I am a size 8 and wear 8/10 (label depending) on bottoms. I am 5.5" and this dress comes below my knees. I love this dress, it's incredibly comfortable and versatile as you can wear clothes underneath it. I'm glad I didn't pay full price, I still think the price is a lot in the sale but it is pure British wool & I know that this doesn't come cheap. I would prefer to wear British wool than fast fashion!!

At last, an upside to spring turning cold again! Bought this dress specifically for those between-seasons days and it's already doing its job marvellously. Comfortable, warm, soft, not remotely itchy and very well made.

I love this dress. I ordered it in the navy in XL. I am a size 14/16. It fits very well. Love the long sleeves. Love the boat shape neck line, it is a very flattering shape and great with a scarf. Im 5ft.8ins and the length is perfect, just as the picture on the website. Good with trainers or boots or even over jeans. I would love to order in the grey, but sadly no XL.

I am pleased with this buy, like it very much, but the sizing of all of the garments is a puzzle to me - this dress I bought in Medium but found it too big, should have returned but eventually it went to Red Cross Shop, easy option. I have shed weight quite recently, but am having too take chances with purchases from you, having finally decided to buy small, which sits easily and nicely on me. At 91 it is another easy option to wear your dresses, so easily slipped and I feel smart and up to the mark. There’ is something indefinably enjoyable in each of the styles. I still wear a Medium size which you would think might look ‘baggy’ but I feel that because of the Donegal knit it still hangs nicely and is so cosy. Back to the dress being reviewed, I am glad to have it, dressy for anywhere any time,

This dress, in dark navy is a gorgeous colour and is made to a very high standard. The dress hangs beautifully and sits just below my knee. I am a size 14 and the fit is perfect. I love that it is pure wool. Exceptional quality.

Loved the colour but sleeves not long enough so sadly returned.

Ordered after reading customer comments and wasn’t sure i would like it as i am not body confident, i am a size 11 and ordered a small. Perfect fit and it’s gorgeous, hangs well and so soft.

Lovely soft and comfy dress which I know I will wear a lot this winter. I’m a good 14 and the M fits perfectly. I bought the grey but would love it in kaki too.
