Material
Suede is a high-quality form of leather, made from the underside of the animal hide. It's characterized by a soft smooth surface. It is softer and thinner than full grain traditional leather, so it not as strong but has it’s own unique beautiful characteristics.
Care
Washing Instructions
30 Degree Gentle Machine Wash
Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.

Write a reviewI ordered size 8 which felt small. I didn’t like the sole of those and they felt hard. Also painful between the toes because it was a thick piece of material there. I returned. I understood that shoes are better purchased from a specialised retailer. Although perhaps with wear they make have become better. I just don’t think it’s worth the risk for that amount of money.

The flip-flops were perfect except I had space in front of my toes but at the back there was no space so the edge of the shoe was pressing into my heal making it extremely uncomfortable. Size was actually correct but the toe post wasn't far enough forward for me. Really regretted having to send them back.

Great shoes, I got them for the house. I have very narrow and shallow feet, and these fit me very well indeed. Most other flip flop shoes are uncomfortable for me. I think the leather is also starting to mould to my foot even more as I use them.
I wanted to love these so much, they looked a beautiful as the photographs, but I've had to return I'm afraid. The fit is quite odd, the toe post is set a way back so my foot came off the back of the footbed and felt really very uncomfortable. Love Celtic, but not so much these I'm afraid.

Very comfortable, relatively wide fitting and beautifully made ... theses are the best flip flops I have ever owned.
So very tight and I have narrow feet. I wanted them to wear as summer slippers but they were so uncomfy I just couldn't risk it. They're on their way back I'm afraid.

I really wanted to keep these flip flops as they looked nice and had a nice soft footbed but I found them very uncomfortable. The strap is situated so low down from the top of the flip flop that my foot was pushed down to the end of the flip flop (and almost off it) leaving a large area above my toes which I cannot fill as the strap is so badly located. I have some shearling flip flops so I compared them to the suede ones and found that the shearling ones are much better designed so I don't know why Celtic have designed these so poorly.

Absolutely love them. Not been worn yet but feel so comfy. Looked everywhere for sandals but came back to Celtic as have shopped with you before and loved the product and the service.
