British Made Sheepskin
One of the planets' most versatile and natural fibres, sheepskin is used every day in our workshop to create beautifully handcrafted boots, slippers, and accessories.
Meet the team
Originally operating from a small lock up, we’ve grown to be one of the largest sheepskin specialists in Great Britain today, with some of our highly skilled machinists having been with us for over 20 years. Meet some of the team here.
Made in our Cornish workshop
With nearly 30 years experience crafting sheepskin footwear and accessories by hand, in a purpose-built factory on Cornwall’s north coast, our attention to detail and quality is unrivalled. Our timeless slippers and boots offer traditional comfort through expert craftsmanship.
Every pair of sheepskin slippers or boots from Celtic & Co. have been created to stand the test of time and provide ultimate comfort all year round. Sheepskin is a sustainable material known for its temperature-regulating properties, meaning that your feet will be kept warm in winter and cool when the temperature rises.
Here at Celtic and Co., we only use the finest sheepskin to manufacture our products. We are proud supporters of British farming and only source sheepskin that is a by-product of the UK farming industry. We take a material that would otherwise be incinerated and handcraft luxury footwear and accessories.
As a result of the cold British climate, British sheepskin is thicker, warmer and more durable than alternative sheepskins. This makes our slippers the ultimate way to feel cosy and luxurious as the weather cools.
Almost all our sheepskin boots and slippers are machine washable with our Celtic Wool Wash. Simply place them in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine and wash on a 30 degree cycle. Be sure to check the product pages as some specific slippers should be sponge cleaned only, particularly those that feature a Toscana trim, or our water resistant Aqualamb boots.
