Product Details

Handmade in Cornwall from pure British sheepskin, the Celt House Boots have all the cosy warmth and style of our outdoor boots but are specifically designed for indoor wear. The shallow tread soles are durable enough to wear outside when you need to but won’t trail dirt and stones back in. They are simply styled, with double-stitched seams, and matching oatmeal heel protectors.

  • 100% sheepskin
  •  Machine washable with Celtic Wool Wash
  •  Made in Great Britain
  •  Height: 22cm

Also available in Calf height

When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.

Machine Washable

We recommend that you wash boots & slippers on a maximum of 30 degree wool cycle, using ONLY  Celtic Wool Wash liquid that is suitable for automatic washing machines.

  • Do not soak
  • Do not use fabric conditioner
  • Do not use artificial heat to dry
  • Do not dry directly in Sunlight

I love my Indoor boots, cool in Summer, cosy warm in winter. This is my 3rd pair. I do wish you would do some other colours too

My second pair , considering how much I wear them, the first pair lasted really well and my feet stay so warm . Bought my two daughters a pair each, 2 years ago and they love theirs too. Now bought my husband a pair of your slippers and he loves how warm his feet are in them , so all satisfied customers. I also would prefer a darker pair so I do not have to wash them so often. Do not worry about wearing them in summer as they regulate the temperature of your feet.

These are the second pair of house boots I have bought, they are expensive but worth the price, the only reason I bought a new pair as my old pair are 2 & half years old & they look grubby, I have washed them with the sheepskin wash from Celtic but they are much darker than the new ones. I have kept the old ones for housework or painting in. they are in too much good condition to throw away. I agree with another reviewer about having a darker colour may be a good idea.

I virtually live in these boots! They have kept my feet nice and cosy during the latest cold spells and I generally suffer from cold feet. My only issue is that they have started to fray at the back of one of the boots and also they seemed to have picked up some blue colour staining which is a mystery to me as to how it got there. I wear skinny jeans all the time so no colour is actually near the outer layers of the boot. Hopefully the wash that I bought from you will remove this. I still love them and I wouldn't hesitate in buying them again in the future.

Hi Carina, If you give us a call on 0333 400 0044 as we might be able to do something to help with the fraying! Glad you are pleased with your boots and fingers crossed the wool wash works it's magic! :)
