Product Details

Handmade in Cornwall from pure British sheepskin, the Celt House Boots have all the cosy warmth and style of our outdoor boots but are specifically designed for indoor wear. The shallow tread soles are durable enough to wear outside when you need to but won’t trail dirt and stones back in. They are simply styled, with double-stitched seams, and matching oatmeal heel protectors.

  • 100% sheepskin
  •  Machine washable with Celtic Wool Wash
  •  Made in Great Britain
  •  Height: 22cm

Also available in Calf height

When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.

Machine Washable

We recommend that you wash boots & slippers on a maximum of 30 degree wool cycle, using ONLY  Celtic Wool Wash liquid that is suitable for automatic washing machines.

  • Do not soak
  • Do not use fabric conditioner
  • Do not use artificial heat to dry
  • Do not dry directly in Sunlight

These are my third pair of houseboots and I am sure once weather decides to get colder I will gets lots of use from them. However, and have mentioned this before, a darker colour would be a preferred option for me! My last pair of boots whilst wearing well stained and discoloured very quickly. I always spray protect them before wearing and bought the recommended things to clean them. I have machine washed them several times over their life and whilst boots remain fine, marks did not come out. But as you see this doesn't stop me coming back and buying more boots, just my preference would be for a darker colour. I am still wearing my original pair on colder summer days as fleece is now very flat and worn, but better for summer than thicker fleece.

I bought a size 7 usually wearing 6.5 or 7. It was initially so tight that my feet developed cramps and I had to take them off. They are still tight around the front of my ankle, but I am sure this will also improve with time. They are keeping my feet and lower legs warm- better than anything I have ever tried, and I have tried many things. Very glad I decided to spend the money.

Wow! These boots are my very first purchase from Celtic and Co and to say I'm impressed is a bit of an understatement. They arrived a mere 2 days after ordering, just by regular Royal Mail. The boots themselves are excellent quality, super stylish and so warm and comfortable. I usually buy my Winter slipper boots from another on-line retailer (think the opposite of the Black Co.) but not anymore! I honestly cannot recommend these boots highly enough, fit, quality, comfort and style all are more than worth the money.

These boots are lovely and really good quality. My first pair, but I have not worn them in yet. I would like them in the coffee or Vole colour though. These are beautiful but because they are so light in colour I am scared I will mark them. Great boots, so warm and soft on the feet without overheating them. Love them and great service. The customer service team is so helpful

Thank you for your lovely feedback! With regards to marks on your boots, we highly recommend using our Celtic Wool Wash to keep them at bay. It works really well general marks and also keeps the fleece fresh. All you need to do is use it in a 30 degree wool wash and leave them to dry naturally away from direct sunlight and artificial heat and they should come up looking great! :)
