Product Details

All our boots love the great outdoors, but these ones are best on wet days. Our trademarked Aqualamb™ sheepskin is specially treated to make it even more water-resistant. They are handmade in Cornwall, from specially treated waterproof sheepskin and feature a rugged rubber sole and durable, double-stitched construction for complete comfort whatever the weather.

  • Height 22cm
  • 100% sheepskin
  • Made in Great Britain
  • Sponge clean

Available in two heights, Regular Height 22cm and Calf Height 29cm

These boots are also available in Men's sizes.

When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.

Lovely boots bought mainly for cold winter mornings dog walking. Warm and comfortable even on my fairly wide feet BUT I find leaves and even little twigs stick to them so much I look as if I have Army camouflage boots on! Are they coated in something to make them waterproof? Apart from that I love them.

Hi Lynda, they are finished with a resin, which helps make the sheepskin more water resistant, ideal for dog walks! I've never heard of things sticking to them but I'd assume this will stop with time and wear. If you want to discuss this further, give our customer services line a call. :-)

This is my THIRD paid of Celt boots - original navy blue standard ones still going strong after 5 years, and dark grey aqualamb frequently worn. I'd forgotten how snug they feel when you first put them on, but they soon bed down! And a big thank you to the helpful person on the telephone who applied my discount code that wouldn't work on-line. Only point I'd make is that there are fewer colour options in each range than I remember in previous years.

These were tight so they did take a bit of "wearing in" (walking round the house each evening) but my feet are a width fitting of EEE so I did expect a bit of a problem. I had been able to try a pair on when I visited Padstow and a very nice lady gave me most helpful advice that I felt confident to place an order. Also like the leather heel support so they do not look all sloppy.

These are my daughters second pair, she hasnt had them off her feet except to wear summer sandles. The first pair lasted 4 years, the best boots, extremely well made. Thank you!
