When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.

Celtic & Co. products are made with the highest quality craftsmanship and sourced from the finest materials available. While these materials have been treated with premium dyes, some dye transfer may occur onto light clothing or furniture – as with any deep, richly dyed material.

When these boots arrived I was a little disappointed because they seemed to be quite a wide fitting. However it was freezing out and they were super cozy so I decided to keep them. They looked huge every time I looked down at them but as I soon found out they are absolutely waterproof and easy to clean so I decided to overlook the issues I had. However the past few times I have wore them I have noticed that the left boot especially is now slipping off my heel and they are offering absolutely no support to my feet whatsoever. I consider my feet/legs to be slim but definitely not excessively so and they really do make my feet look huge.... I’m so disappointed as they were expensive and I love that they are waterproof, they are so warm, and easy to clean, it’s just that I can no longer wear them. Which is a shame.

Hi Julie, have you tried our sheepskin insoles? https://www.celticandco.com/footwear/cleaning-products-and-insoles/sheepskin-insole

Lovely and cosy boots as well as being stylish. Bought them to keep my feet warm when walking our new puppy. Just a little disappointed that now they have bedded in after a couple of days wear they are slipping at the heel which I find a bit uncomfortable and wonder if anything can be done to rectify this? Would love to hear from customer service if they have any suggestions. Otherwise , great boots.

Hi Margaret, I've passed this over to the Customer Service team as we can indeed help. Someone will be in touch. :-)

I absolutely adore these boots. The very dark rich brown colour is fabulous and as always with Celtic boots the quality is superb. I am a huge fan of this company and have been buying their boots for many years (my wardrobe is full of different colours and styles). It makes me proud to wear British products and to support a brilliant British company. One small issue I have with this latest purchase of Aqualambs is that there is no Union Jack flag sewn into the seams :( is this a new policy? If so, please consider re-instating the flag, I like it.

Thanks Tracey, I'll pop your thoughts over the product development team. It's good to know people like it :-)

Lovely boots - Aqualamb - but they flop at the heel when walking. I spoke to someone in customer service about this after I'd worn them round the house for a day and she said the size sounded right and they should stop flopping once the sole had become more flexible. So I took the labels off and have worn them out for two days and they still flop. I can't return them now as I've worn them outside so I rang customer service again to see if they thought insoles would help. The man didn't seem to know much about this so this wasn't very helpful. So I'm disappointed in the fit sadly.

Hi Anita, thank you for the feedback and I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience with the customer service. If you are still having problems, let me know as the insoles might help, or we can also pinch the heel to help rectify this. Call us to discuss :-)
