Water Resistant Sheepskin Lined Tall Boots

Really liking these boots. The lining is really soft and warm, they're comfy and snuggly. I like the rubber soles, good for icy conditions. There's a little stretchy slit to ensure it fits the calves. The only reason for docking one star is that the back of the heel isn't perfectly waterproof and gets slightly damp inside in wet conditions and also could've used a better lining on the heel. The rest of the boot seems to be water resistant, it's specifically the heel, I suspect because of the seam. However, as a pair of winter boots, they're great for navigating icy conditions and are very warm. Plus they look super cute.

I wanted a pair of waterproof sheepskin boots, so ordered the Olive ones from Celtic&co. I have bought many Celtic boots in the past The fact that these were made in Portugal [many of whose shoes I have bought for years], encouraged me . The good look of the nubuck is difficult to maintain, however , and the boots can look a bit ' scruffy' and are difficult to clean. It definitely detracts from the quality, look and style of the knee high boot which is a good practical boot. The Olive is not the best colour for neutrality . Dark Brown would have been better.

These are AWESOME! So comfy and soft on the inside and very comfortable to walk in. Calf size was no problem for me and I have an athletic build. Not tight at all. Will be a favorite this winter.

I have a larger calf and I could not zip these boots up. Also a little tight in the foot. Will need to return.

Firstly the calf measurement on the listing is completely wrong. My calves are 38.5cm. Listing says 41cm. So it would have been a snug fit, but worth a shot. There was a gap of around 6cm across my calves where the zip did not meet. Lucky its free returns, but what a waste of everyones time. Secondly, they are not waterproof. The zip is unshielded, therefore as soon as a puddle reaches the height of the very bottom of the zip - which is surprisingly low - the water will flood in. There is no gortex lining or other similar waterproofing. These are not cheap boots, I expected better. A lot better. Additionally the ones I purchased were green, and they marked the instant they were removed from the tissue. I've bought quite a few boots from Celtic in the past but this was not a good experience.
