Tall Block Heel Leather Boots

Super quality boots, very comfortable & feel smart enough for work but also for going out. My previous (other type) boots had a fault & the customer service has been excellent.

These boots look nice but the golden tan colour rubs off very easily leaving a bright orange colour. There was a small orange patch when they arrived which wasn't too bad but now they look shabby even at sale price and they're hardly worn. They look like they need a respray.

Same as other reviews. Mine arrived with a lighter patch on the toe but I kept them with an agreed discount. My choice. However they are scuffing badly and I’ve only worn them three times. Something gone wrong with the tanning process I think.. otherwise they are lovely boots, comfortable . If the leather dying was better it would be a 5 overall.

Online, I loved the look, style, fit and colour of these boots. I hesitated after reading some reviews about the colour, but personally I found it exactly as advertised and really beautiful. When my boots arrived, however, one had a large undyed/bright orange patch right above the toe. I contacted C&C, sent photos, and they arranged a replacement very quickly, all very straightforward. Sadly, the second pair also arrived with noticeable bright orange patches on the toes of both boots. The best way to describe it is that it looks as if something has bleached or stripped the dye from the leather. These marks don’t appear in the online product photos, so they’re clearly not part of the intended design. So the second pair also needs to be returned, and I don’t think I’ll risk waiting for a third. It’s a shame, because the boots themselves seem well-made and feel like they would last.

I had the same reaction as Jo about the colour, and I did send mine back for that reason. They have now updated the website, so the picture shown now is more accurate.

These are lovely well made boots, they are just really very different to the photos on the website. Rather than a pale tan colour, with weathered markings, they are a rich conker brown. I’m debating whether to keep as they weren’t as expected.
