Suede Ankle Boots

Lovely looking and very comfortable little boots. Good solid sole so will be very practical while looking stylish at the same time.

As others have noted, these are too narrow. I don’t agree that these boots fit up to an E (wide) width. Even with thin socks they feel tight but I’d want to wear them with thicker socks. Will return sadly as I’ve liked the look of these for several years now. I think the next size up would just be too long.

Lovely soft boots but were extremely hard to get on despite the zip- and once on very narrow across the width of the foot. This was just in plain ankle socks so no chance of wearing chunky socks. I have neuropathy in my feet so it’s vital there’s room for movement and possibly orthotics. A size 7 would be simply too long as the length of the boots was fine- just the narrow mid foot.

These beautiful boots are too narrow for me sadly. I wear orthotics and cannot get my foot into the boot with the orthotics in. Without orthotics they are a very tight fit and wouldn't be wearable for any length of time. Shame. I did read online reviews to try and see if there was any width information, and indeed phoned up Customer Service to try and find out before purchasing, but there was no information available I was told.

I have 2 pairs now - SO comfortable, can wear them all day out and about. Stylish boot and great colours.

Coming back for my second pair! Original pair has travelled with me internationally , the zips are great for airport security chores. The extra spaces allows thick socks and room for feet to change size on long haul flights, yet always secure carrying lots of bags on uneven ground. Tread is good in winter, but surprisingly comfortable in hot (35degC plus) temps. Soles are now showing wear and am anxious to find replacements. Would love a pair in NAVY blue too.

So chuffed with these boots as been wanting them for over a year. For me, they are a perfect fit in length (uk 8) and width as my feet are quite narrow and there is enough room for thicker socks if needed. Really well made and so far really comfy. These boots are going to be worn alot! Love them.

My second pair of these boots. I wear a 37 in these as they do come up large. These are boots that you can wear all day from the first day. Incredibly comfortable. Look great.

Bought this boot in size alone. Then worried about reviews. Sz 39 is great for me. The arch felt a little tight initially, and I have a narrow foot. It has stretched out a bit and I absolutely love this boot!

Hi leaving my review on my recent experience and purchases from Celtic and co I live in Australia and really liked the look of their products so I decided to go and order two pairs of different styled boots Absolutely shocked and disappointed when the parcel arrived To find the new pair of derby boots in a shoe box (that was fine ) And the other pair thrown in beside the new pair not even in a box , That have clearly been worn with mud on the bottom of the sole and not the pair I even ordered! Feeling discouraged and terrible about the lack of communication I’ve sent a email and received no correspondence I won’t be shopping here again I feel like the boots I ordered were hijacked by one of the staff and these thrown into my shipping order instead of the second pair I ordered and now the boots I wanted are all sold out online I’ve never bought boots from this company before And the second pair clearly aren’t what I ordered, not happy at all As these purchases weren’t cheap either Thumbs down

I had to send back the size 40 chocolate leather essential ankle boots because they were scuffed at the toe and at the back of the heel, even though the soles weren’t worn. It looked as though someone else had had them before me, worn them inside and then sent them back. Because of the scuffs the finish was patchy and I thought not good as new. It made me wonder if these are the right sort of boots for me and I would appreciate a call to discuss whether or not it would be right to reorder if this is a common feature or occurrence. Disappointed, which is a shame as I like to support Celtic.

I was hesitant about ordering these since I often need a wider fitting, but they were immediately comfortable. I live in jeggings in winter and these not only go perfectly, but also smarten them up! I love the colour.

The most comfortable and well made boots I’ve worn in a long time and I’m ancient. Love them and get so many compliments from the younger ones. Have a go! These boots are old fashioned quality.

I found the length true to size and chose my normal 39, even though people said size down. However way too narrow, my feet are only slightly wide. So back they have gone.

Lovely boots and true to size - I am a size 6 and the 39 was perfect with knee highs. However, I returned them as I ordered dark navy and they looked black. I have ordered the Olive colour now so fingers crossed I will be keeping them!

Love these boots, incredibly comfortable immediately, wore them for a whole weekend away straight out the box no problem. I normally wear size 4.5 and have a wide foot, size 37 was perfect for me, great fit. Minor issue the popper on one boot is slightly out of line so comes undone occasionally, but doesn’t deter from the quality of the boots for me. First purchase of boots from Celtic & Co, very pleased with my purchase.

Sized down due to reviews but too small. Dark navy is almost black as other reviewers have said. Would prefer proper navy.

I got them in navy after a 4+yr search for this height.They are so comfortable. I don’t wear socks but got some very comfy insoles so the fight is perfect, my normal size. I plan on getting them in brown.

Fabulous boots. So comfortable. I have been looking for a pair of boots for two years now to replace my Barbour ones which are discontinued! I have sent numerous pairs back, but these Celtic boots are amazing. I’m a size 5.5 so I ordered size 5 after reading other reviews and they are perfect.

Just climbed up Cape Cornwall in them and they were perfect for a wild walk on the beach. Smart enough to go to the pub afterwards!

These are beautiful boots, and I'm so happy I ordered them. After reading the reviews, I ordered a size down. I am a true US 10 and I ordered the EU 40 (US 9) which fits perfectly. Did I mention they are comfortable?

Beautiful boots! Some reviews mentioned sizing down, but I hate too-tight boots and I think I have pretty wide feet so I didn't bother. I double-sock (thin everyday socks) with these and they fit perfectly.

I was immediately drawn to these ankle boots when I saw them on the website - as they seemed to be exactly what I’d been looking for. As I’m between sizes and noting the comments regarding size and fit, I spoke to Customer Services. They were so helpful and I’m extremely grateful to them for their advice to go down a size. The 38 is the perfect fit for my 5.5 feet. The boots are very comfortable and I love the colour (dark navy). Thank you to Celtic & Co for another top quality product!

These are quality! Love them, have walked miles in mine. Sturdy, comfy, stylish, cool.

I immediately liked the look of these boots and they fit very well on my reasonably wide feet. Two things that unfortunately mean that I will have to return them: One of the boots is super squeaky, with every single step. The sole could be softer and I don't think they will be most comfortable on a long walk. For boots at this price, I feel the quality should be excellent not just average.

Omg my boots just arrived (sooo fast!). Couldn’t wait to try them on and they are PERFECT. Colour just as shown. I usually buy 40 because of a bunion but per the reviews I ordered a 39 and they fit perfectly. The quality of these boots shines through as soon as you look at them.
