Strap Detail Clogs

These clogs were bought by my husband just over 12 months ago . They are a disaster... they are very hard , especially in the toe area as they have been stiffened just like a steel toe cap ! When you bend your foot they cut into your foot . I tried to wear them with socks , but with some nasty blisters as a result. I complained to Celtic with photos to prove they had hardly been worn ! And was told there was nothing they would do ! ! DO NOT BUY . Very unhelpful company, I will not be buying anything from them again .

Initially a little disappointed with appearance. Expected scuff marks from previous reviews but these were also both creased across the front as though previously worn.. Very comfortable on though and not purchased for smart wear so decided to keep and hope polish will relax creases.

The clogs look lovely, but the leather is very stiff and as the upper is very wide, I feel as the leather softens over time, the fit would become looser. I think the back strap should be longer and more robust, andI feel the price is a little excessive.

Shoes came really scratched. Tried to put the back strap on as don’t like wearing sandal type shoes and it was a really squeeze dispute my foot fitting fine in the actual shoe. Base of the shoe and the leather really hard and solid, uncomfortable. Massive disappointment so sending them back. Just hope I can get delivery refunded as shoes were obviously damaged before arriving. What a shame as I had my eye on these for ages!

I find these clogs comfortable to wear but after just a few wearings the leather Looks very scuffed. I have only worn them indoors so this should not be the case. Have tried a gentle waxing but hasn’t improved surface much. Rather disappointing considering the price

I found the back straps to be perfectly functional. I doubted it after other reviews, but perhaps they prefer their back straps lower than I do? I set mine to the last-but-one hole and found them comfortable and secure when worn about halfway between heel and ankle. The shoes are a tad roomier than I anticipated, so I'm glad the straps work to help keep my feet in-place. The uppers bend/crease sharply across the middle when walking (perhaps because they are shaped higher than necessary?), but not in a painful way and hopefully this will ease with wear and breaking-in. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase, although they seem rather simple and basic materials for the cost.

Love the style, colour and softness of these clogs however the leather is very easily marked and they arrived full of scuffs and marks. The ankle strap is also very short making unable to use as ankle strap. I am an 8.5 and ordered the largest size, an 8 as going off reviews they come up large. However they were too small for me. I wish they did a size 9 like they do in the blue colour.

These clogs are totally impractical, if not useless if you want to wear them with the ankle strap round your heel. I didn’t try to do them up because I could see the strap would only just reach the buckle, if indeed it made it that far. Also, the buckle and fastening for the strap did not seem sturdy enough to withstand the twisting needed to swap the clogs from ankle strap to non ankle strap. As an aside, I ordered two sizes to compare and one pair did not arrive in a box, just loose inside the outer box which is not ideal when the nature of these clogs means they mark very easily.

Not as soft as I was expecting but this has the advantage of providing more profection to toes! Lovely leather clogs and good fit- I have wide feet and there is plenty of room for my feet to spread out.

Lovely clog. Comfortable and fit well. Mt only comment is that the back strap could be a little longer.

The shoes are well made and comfortable to wear. I only wish the toe box were a little higher at the front. As it is they newest a little more stretching treatment in strategic spots. But then, since the material is natural they will adapt to my feet soon.

Love these. They are so simple and classic. The rust colour is just what I was looking for. They do mark quite easily but being leather is gives them a lovely character and they can be buffed up with a little polish. The perfect shoes for working away in my studio.

I reallly like the clogs though unfotunately the width is really narrow and I havé EE width feet! I trust they will stretch a bit as the length is fine. It would be helpful to give a width size guide as I have a pair of the boot slippers which I see are much wider in the sole.

I’m a size 42/uk8 and I struggle with sizing in some of the big name brand of footbed footwear, but this pair of clogs is perfect! The footbed is soft, comfortable and supportive, the upper is a lovely shade for everyday wear and will withstand some showers unlike suede. The price is excellent. I couldn’t be happier!
