should have read the revues as I had the same issue as others, the opening is too tight to get an average foot in which is a great shame as they are lovely design.

More testing should be done to an item like this as only the tiniest feet would fit

I receive admiration when I wear them but as mentioned above they are really hard to get on and off and I really pray the leather softens over time.i suggest a redesign with a zip

I absolutely love these. They are smart enough for the office and dressed up occasions, and comfortable enough to wear on the journey there and back. Also good enough to run 25mins at a 7min/km pace in the rain - though not recommended as the sole can get slippery. Two months in, and I’m getting them reheeled. Would love to see more of such dressy options, preferably with a tad more grip in the sole. I will only add a caveat as to size. These fit me far too perfectly, but I typically struggle finding shoes that fit. These are a more traditional cut from perhaps a decade ago - tapered toe and slightly tapered heel, higher crown around metatarsal/instep area but comparatively lower height between ankle and arch. Definitely a different feel from the Celtic & Co biker boots (which unfortunately do not work as well for me).

You will need to break these in, and while you do you will wish that you hadn't bought them. I wore these on a city break and they were so bad that I contemplated just sending them to a charity shop on my return. I wore two pairs of socks and blister plasters and felt like the little mermaid. The quality is excellent and I hope that now I have suffered through them they will last, they seem to fit much better now. I wear a size 40 and bought 40. I would size up if you are not willing to suffer (and perhaps I should have sized up anyway).

Love the look of these. I have a number of pairs of Celtic and Co. boots, and have always been impressed with the style, fit and quality. After reading reviews, ordered 2 pairs, 38 & 39, to try for size, my usual size is 38. Started with the 39, couldn't get my feet in them, as other reviewers have mentioned. Unless you have really slim feet with a low instep, I don't think these are for you. I've had similar boots, and am looking to replace my worn out ones, my originals have a short zip in the back, much easier to get your feet into..... sadly both pairs here have been returned.

Absolutely beautiful boots, rather more town than country. However, i could not even try them on properly... My feet / ankles are slim, yet they were difficult to get into. A great shame, as they are really lovely

I loved the design of these boots as soon as I saw them, but sadly they are so stiff that I could not get my feet into them to try them on. I am very sad. They were delivered today and they will be going back as soon as I can manage. They are back in the box waiting.

The boot looks gorgeous but I literally can’t get my feet into them to try them on. They are having to go straight back.

Unfortunately I had to return but the boots are good quality but made small for those who have wide top foot

Lovely boots. Saw them and had to try before my size sold out. Elsewhere I tend to be a 42 but at Celtic size 41. These fit as other Celtic boots do. The toe is more roomy than I expected, probably because it is a bit less severely pointed than I thought it might be. The undercut heel makes them comfortable and easy to walk in. I am very pleased and can see me wearing these a lot this autumn/winter.
