      Care

      30 degree gentle machine wash. Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.

      The sheepskin slides I bought were reduced in sale, so very good value. But I would have been happy to pay full price as they are very good quality. I have had similar Celtic slides and slippers before and find they wear well. I like being able to hand wash them with specialist sheepskin wash fluid. I also like the fact they are a more natural product with less plastic. The slides are comfortable for the warmer months and a nice easy style to slip on. I am very happy with my purchase.

      Unfortunately, these appear made only suitable for narrow feet. Strap across the foot is incredibly tight with no flex, causing irritation on the side of the toe, which defeats the purpose of the sheepskin in the first place. Hard bits within the underside of the strap. Disappointing overall. Sent back. A shame, because they are otherwise fashionable great looking slippers.

      Made a mistake when I bought the Luxe mules as ordered the same size as the shortie boots, totally forgetting the sheepskin would flatten. Went down a size for these and although they seem slightly neat when slipping on I know the sheepskin will flatten, so very happy with the size. Despite choosing the wrong size the Luxe mules are worn a lot. The mule is a useful style with constantly changing temperatures, at least in my part of the UK.

      Lovely when first worn, however, don’t wear well. Attractive & very warm initially, but after modest wear, the fleece on the sole erodes in parts to reveal quite a thin & flimsy sole.

      Pretty narrow on the foot but should relax in due course. Quality is very poor in my opinion and the cost for what they are is exorbitant. Would not recommend

      I had to size up (from a 5 to a size 6). They felt a little snug to begin with, but are now perfect. They are fab! I love them and my 15 year old daughter does too, as she keeps stealing them!
