Seat Belt Cover

Went to the Celtic shop to purchase a sheepskin seat belt cover. The shop had lovely jumpers to look at as well. Jane was extremely helpful and friendly. We are very pleased with the seat belt cover and it looks great.

So delighted with mine! Makes seatbelt wearing so much more comfortable. To be fair it can be a bit of a faff to move along the belt sometimes, but I know with time the leather on the inside will 'polish' and then glide more easily. Not enough of a faff for me to not use it! I am short in stature and often seat belts sit uncomfortably on me, this cover means that my neck is no longer rubbed by the seat belt.

I'm slightly disappointed with this product. I opted for the grey one, which looked luxurious in the photo but even though I can tell from the back of the sheepskin that it's new , it looks a bit like an old sheepskin from the 70s, I wish that I had opted for the white one. In line with some of the other reviews, it's fiddly, finding the seat belt catch with this on and making sure that the seam doesn't rub against me. In contrast, I purchased a shearling gilet from them which was very luxurious and beautiful.

I am slightly disappointed in this seatbelt, not in the quality which is the usual Celtic 5 stars but because it doesn’t slid up and down the belt which makes using the belt very fiddly. Once in the correct position it is very comfortable and stops the seatbelt digging into my neck. Then when getting out of the car it is the same problem of the belt not retracting because the sheepskin won’t slid on the belt. Perhaps I will get used it but I am not sure about that.

Will make seat belt wearing a lot more comfortable from now on. Could be a bit shorter to make adjust a little easier. Very pleased with it.

So pleased with this seatbelt cover. A lovely hug of sheepskin against my skin when I'm driving. So much nicer to feel the soft sheepskin rather than the synthetic seatbelt (especially in the recent heatwave!). I have to guide the seatbelt into place when I retract it, but this is no hassle and well worth it for the comfort of having a sheepskin 'hug'!
