Organic Cotton Twill Tapered Trousers

Very pleased with these trousers. My size is 14/16, but with the elasticated waist, I ordered size 14 and they fit really well.

As someone who falls between sizes 10–14 and struggles to find trousers that fit, I ordered a 12 and they fitted well. Yes, the waist is generous — but for me that was exactly the point. Relaxed, effortless, good weight fabric — comfortable enough for a 4.5-hour flight and elegant enough for cool holiday evenings. Beyond the trousers themselves, I was genuinely impressed by the packaging: no plastic anywhere, right down to the box tape. A beautiful linen product deserves better than plastic wrap — and Celtic & Co. clearly thought so too. Truly environmentally conscious in every detail.

This fabric is beautifully soft and with a good weight. I'd describe the colour as more creamy than oatmeal but am happy with it. The waist, however, was far too loose for my size 12. The trousers were such good value though so I opened the seams at the back and shortened the elastic.

Incorrect size guide with this product. Size 16 shows 32 inch waist. I normally have a size 14 but being an online customer due to disability I have to rely on the size guides being correct so I ordered the size 16. It was HUGE and had to be returned. I have no idea what size to reorder so will look elsewhere. Not good enough Celtic and Co!
