Absolutely love these jumpers, have it in several different colourways now. Please please please bring it out in a gorgeous rich toffee/cognac/mahogany sort of colour!

Fabulous jumper but the hem curls up when wearing which has put me off buying another. I love the boat neck which is much more flattering than a scoop neck for me.

Thank you. I am reluctant to admit to how many of these I own but suffice to say that they are an essential part of my wardrobe. I could not resist this one, particularly as it was at a reduced price. These jumpers are ideal as they provide an extra bit of warmth during the summer months. They are light enough to pop in a bag when not needed. They are smart and stylish and wash well by hand in a gentle detergent.

Love this jumper - it's the 3rd I've purchased! The olive colourway really suits me, and so does this one in charcoal. Slim fit but not too tight, sleeves are a good length, and it feels superbly soft and comfortable against your skin.

I have learned to buy a small size from Celtic & Co even though I am a 12 or 14 in other brands. The small fits me perfectly. This is my fourth one of these merino wool boatneck jumpers because I find them so flattering and I love wearing them when I want to dress up for an evening out. They are neither too tight nor too loose and the neckline is not too high. As for the colour, this one is not as I thought it would be. It is described as Emerald and the pictures show a fairly dark Emerald. I'd say it is much more like a British racing green. I have kept it because, although it's not quite what I wanted, the sale price is fantastic value and it is so beautiful. Having said all that, these are my absolute favourite jumpers.

This has become my favourite sweater this year! It goes with everything! I especially love the rib on the wrist! And it's such good quality! So easy to find cardigans to match the stripes! Would have loved this sweater in other colours as well, such as olive green, navy, deep or some kind of warm red...

I have not bought this jumper because it is made in China. You are Celtic. You should not be selling items made in China.

Thank you for sharing how you feel — your feedback is completely understandable, and I want to address it honestly and respectfully. A quick, clear explanation Celtic & Co. is proudly based in Cornwall, and many of our signature products are made in the UK — especially our sheepskin and wool pieces. However, not every product can be produced in the UK, and a small selection is made in carefully chosen partner factories overseas, including China. Why some items are made outside the UK We only manufacture overseas when: A particular skill, machinery or technique isn’t available in the UK, Or producing the item domestically would make the price inaccessible to customers, And the factory meets strict ethical, environmental, and quality standards. Every item on our website will have a flag and a description, if it is not UK made you will find this quite clearly in the product details. Kind regards

I found this sweater on the snug side, and short in the arms. Usually size large products from Celtic and Co give plenty of room and length, however, I am finding that products made in China can be on the small size - no different than I find in regular outlet stores. I could exchange it for the XL left, but don’t want the bother - I’ll wear as a base layer under looser wearing cloths, that will show off the gorgeous fair isle design. So if someone is looking at the XL and are a regular size large, it will probably be a great fit for you.

Really pleased wished I’d bought it in the sale but fortunately I did have a voucher when purchasing

I purchased large as my usual medium was too small in this case. At first I wasn’t sure about new design but the slightly heavier weight and the look on and the robustness are all lovely. A previous one in the old design had literally parted across from the arm as so fine. This sweater doesn’t pill, has been worn many times. Thank you

I bought the medium in this jumper (I'm a 10/12 and go for a small in Celtic's chunkier knits). The medium is perfect, the wool is lovely and soft and this holds its shape very well (I've washed mine several times). Ideal for wearing to the office on cool-but-not-freezing days, as well as dressed down with jeans on a weekend.

Beautiful fine quality woollen fabric. Looks very smart with a work skirt but equally at home with jeans.

Please listen to your customers. We loved the original Merino but sadly this design doesn’t even come close. The original was stylish and easy to dress up or down, it was a staple for your loyal customers, many like myself had various colours and would continue to purchase if available. Your loyal customers are your best asset please listen.

Thank you for your feedback we really do appreciate your custom and your comments will be passed to the Product Team. They value our customers opinions and always are keen to know how our customers fell about a change in product. Kind regards Celtic & Co

I haven't worn or washed this yet, but have no reason to think it will be a problem. I purchased it as a smart-casual item to wear on a winter cruise, and for layering when outdoors. Feels good quality and looks well-made, and I'm pleased that the 'boat neck' isn't too wide. Love the blue/white/orange colour combo - very unusual.

I'm absolutely devastated to find the style of these jumpers has changed! I accidentally washed my old ones at too high termperature and needed to replace them. But as others have said, the thicker/denser knit, cuffs (and shorter sleeves), change to neck and overall lack of lightness is really disappointing. Please bring back the old style, they were an absolute staple!

Thank you for your feedback which we will pas forward to our product team, they are always keen to hear what our customers prefer. The design was changed to make to the jumpers slightly thicker and an overall stronger design. Kind regards Celtic & Co.

The charcoal/ecru has a slight brown hue to what would be grey, so suits me. It's perfect in every way. Styled under a slightly shorter blue jumper or the C&C grey flecked coatigan on very cold days - or even by itself.

I would have liked to write a positive review of this new style jumper, but unfortunately I cannot…I purchased one last season as I could see this was replacing the old style and I wanted to compare, but is not a patch on the old style (of which I have several of different colours, which are worn regularly and much loved) for all the reasons listed in other comments. I hoped the new season would see a return of the old style in a new range of colours to replace/add to my collection!…sadly that has not happened. Adding my comment to others calling for the return of the old style please!

Thank you for your review, I am sorry you are disappointed in the Fine Knit Boat Neck Jumper. I will ensure your comments are passed on to the relevant department. Kindest regards Celtic & Co

I loved the old style of these jumpers and lived in them, wish I'd bought 5 of each before you changed the style for the worst. I've bought 3 jumpers after change of style but they are too heavy, there's a defined cuff and neck finish, they no longer cover menopause bulges and the whole attraction of the old style was for me its lightness and being forgiving on bulges without looking enormous. Please bring the old style back, and I note you have so many comments from others. It is a real problem for me because the old style didnt last forever but I didnt care I would have continued buying them.

I'm really pleased I read the comments on here before I buy another one of these jumpers. I was about to re-purchase to replace one I 'over-washed' but have noticed this current version has cuffs and a finished collar and is a fitted style. No. No. No. I also note the comment regarding the greater thickness of the knit. The attraction of the previous version was it's straight line fit, lack of cuffs - looked great with jeans and slouchy. Not this one, it's too 'neat'. please bring back the previous design and knit and I'll buy three!

Thank you for your review, we will pass on your feedback regarding the Fine Knit Merino Jumpers to our product team. Kind regards

I have bought loads of these as it is SO nice to find some jumpers that aren’t huge and baggy! Being only 5ft 2” and a size 10 I find many jumpers swamp me. Not these! I also love the unusual neckline, it makes them just a bit different. Don’t you DARE stop making them Celtic! I might cry!

I really love this jumper. I now have it in 4 colours. It hangs beautifully and doesn't cling (unlike lots of thin jumpers) and it's the perfect length on me. It's very lightweight, which I perfer, as I can easily add a layer underneath if I want to be warmer. And it doesn't itch at all (my skin is quite sensitive). Altogether super. I prefer the plain colours, so please can we have more of them. A naughty moth got my red one, so I want to replace it.

Excellent sweater with jeans or white pants . good fit through my smallish shoulders, lovely feel to the wool and not at all itchy.

A long-standing favourite for me. I already have several of these jumpers. I find them ideal. They are light-weight but warm and fold up small to put in a bag just in case it turns chilly. I was them by hand and use a very short spin which works well. I have bought the sea green this time (in the sale). Very pleased with it, a lovely vibrant colour.

A really lovely versatile sweater, great weight for layering or wearing on its own , navy colour is a fab match for lots of my clothes, lovely neckline. Such a shame it's Made in China - I hadn't noticed when ordering, - in fact, not till I checked the washing instructions. Had I noticed, I'd have passed. Such a shame. I buy from Celtic & Co because previous purchases have made much of 'Made in GB' credentials and have been great quality, have washed and worn we, so I'm prepared to pay that bit more. Had been intending to buy another of these, but won't now. Please don't respond with the usual b*llocks about carefully choosing suppliers and safeguards against unfair working. We all know it's rubbish when it comes to China.

Overall a lovely jumper. I already own two of this type, which were a bit thinner and I like the thicker fabric. However, I noticed that this one is now made in China. While it's clearly stated on the webpage, I was disappointed as the prices have remained the same and I double-checked my previous jumpers which say "made in UK". A big reason for me to buy Celtic jumpers has been the fact that it was made in the UK and not in China. I would be interested in knowing the reason for this change to not producing in the UK anymore.

I have bought around 7 of these in various colours but the more recent ones are thicker and not as comfortable, less forgiving. The previous finer knits were 10 stars and have been my essential staple but I dread the day they get too worn out. Please bring back the ultrafine knits, or have an option for selecting them, I wished I'd stocked up before you changed the knit, do you have any of the ultra fine knit old stock left in large? Worth a try!

Thank you for your feedback, which we will pass forward to our product team. We are sorry that we only have the new style available. Kind regards Celtic& Co.

Much preferred the previous made in Britain ones, of which I have 2. This green one is thicker and bobbles. Won’t buy again
