      Just like our loafer mocs but with a bonus injection of plush sheepskin at the cuff. Our lounger mocs are hand crafted in 100% sheepskin with hand-crimped edges nodding to traditional moccasin styling.

      When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.
      Size & Fit

      Care

      30 degree gentle machine wash. Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.

      I have purchased a good number of these moccasin slippers over the years and I have always loved them & the size 6 has always fitted perfectly. This year the design had changed - flat toes not the lovely rounded toe as shown in the picture. This meant they were too short. I returned them & ordered size 7 - they arrived with the lovely rounded toes. I decided to order another couple of pairs of size 7 as Celtic & Co are clearly changing the design or supplier? Both have arrived with flat toes, one pair of slippers is more like a size 8 & will have to be returned & the other is a size 7 which fits but because of the toe shape appears a wider shoe. I also bought a pair of sheepskin insoles so hopefully they will take up spare space. Overall therefore very disappointed that Celtic & Co have changed the design of the moccasin from the lovely rounded toe that I loved & fitted consistently well. The new supply with the flat toes is not as nice & the quality control on sizing clearly slipping. So sorry you’ve changed the design!

      The toe of these slippers is squarer than shown in the photos. I order a size larger as my usual size is too tight, probably because I prefer a wide fit. These slippers are quite pricey but very cosy. I buy a new pair every 4 years.
