Designed in buttery soft leather accented by antique-effect metal trims, this contemporary bag has a wider base than our classic cross-body styles, which gives you more space for your daily necessities.

Outer pockets give you fast access to essential items, while a combination of zipped and unzipped inner pockets allow you to keep things organised. The strap is crafted in leather and webbing and is fully adjustable, so you can wear it on the shoulder or across your body.

    Care

    We recommend protecting your leather goods with a protector spray. This will form an invisible shield to repel liquids and stains, and dry clear so is suitable for both footwear and clothing. If your leather bags have seen better days, start by using a soft brush to remove any dirt, then use a universal cleaner to wipe them down.

    When using leather cleaners on our products, we would advise you to do a small patch test on a discreet area initially before cleaning the entire product.

    The first bag came and the front strap was sewn on crooked so the magnitic clasp did not line up. The replacement came without much effort, but the brass buckle on the new one was beyond antique looking, it had large dark pock marks and overall was thickly tarnished. I polished it with brasso so it looked right. If you look closely the leather pieces are not the quality you'd expect for the price, but I have been looking for this exact type of bag for years so I will be keeping it. I wish inside the strap was leather rather than the heavy canvas it is. The leather quality is excellent and the pockets useful.

When something arrives with the kind of craftsmanship you expect from us, and something feels “off”, it really dims the excitement, and that’s not the experience we ever want for you. It sounds as though you’ve had two separate issues: • a misaligned front strap on the first bag and • a heavily tarnished buckle on the replacement. Both are definitely things we’d want to put right. Our buckles are designed to have a softly aged, lived‑in finish, but what you’ve described — thick tarnish and pock‑marking — isn’t how it should arrive. I’m also taking on board your note about the strap construction. We choose a strong cotton webbing for comfort and durability, but feedback like yours is genuinely helpful when we review designs for future seasons. Even if you’ve decided to keep the bag, we can still help if you’d prefer us to inspect it or consider another replacement.

    Stunning leather and I love the colour, lovely quality, really well made. I love this bag. lots of pockets to find things. Taken a while to get used to the size, I would like it an extra inch bigger but then I’m used to big bags and carry so much junk, reason for bag is only to carry what I need, plenty of room for all necessities. Long strap for across body or shorten and just wear on your shoulder.

    I love this bag, I have it in both black and brown it’s the perfect size to insure I only carry around the things I need to as I can be a bit of a hoarder! It has lots of pockets so it’s easy to find things and is lovely quality.

    I’m very pleased with the amount of pockets in this bag although the pockets for credit cards are not deep enough. The zip for the main part of the bag is difficult to use but overall a lovely bag I’m proud to be using.

    I love this bag although the wait was a little long. Not too big with a lot of pockets for all the dog treats etc. etc. Lovely leather with a good quality length strap. The leather and colour matches my fur-topped boots bought a while ago. I would also love this in another colour please!

    Purchased this bag to replace my Celtic & Co. six year old cross body bag that i love so dearly, but is starting to get tatty so when I saw it was once again available I jumpped at the chance to replace it My new one arrived today. It is made of thinner leather with not as good a finish, reinforcements are stitched rather than riveted, hardware is lighter and less sturdy, lining is thinner and all stitching is done with lighter thread. I do not think I will get the mileage i did from my last bag from C & C. That said the price point is better and it is OK bag, however the overall quality is not what I have come to expect from C & C.

    I am a self confessed bagaholic and this one has gone straight to number one as my favourite. I have purchased a few through Celtic and Co but this is the best yet. It is a perfect size for everyday use with extra little pockets and even pen and card slots inside. It is the softest of leathers and will only improve with age. Please please get it made in other colours if you can especially navy or black. The price is very reasonable for such a lovely bag. If you are hesitating please don’t you won’t be disappointed.
