Made in Britain from pure British wool, this crew neck jumper is detailed with traditional gansey stitching above the hem and cuffs. Finished with ribbed edges for durability, it offers a warm and practical layer with timeless appeal.

Our British Wool has a more rustic finish than our other yarns, giving it an authentic look and feel. Hardy and durable like the sheep it comes from, it will get better and better with age.  

If you are sensitive to wool, we recommend wearing one of our organic cotton tops underneath for additional comfort.

Length: 60cm
Care
Hand wash only. When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.  Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

Very nice jumper, but as usual the body is short and the sleeves are long. It is difficult to alter the sleeves because of the detail which would be lost. The colour is lovely, and the yarn feels good quality, although I haven’t washed it yet.

This is a beautiful sweater whose color is best presented in the bottom photo - A gorgeous warm ocher. I could not keep it because it was itchy, has very long sleeves, runs really big, and did not suit my unfortunate round shoulders. Not flattering on me. I bet it would look great on a different body.

I bought an extra small as recommended by Celtic & co customer services. It’s always a dilemma - small or extra small. The smaller size was the right choice. The colour is gorgeous- different from the usual colours available. The jumper is comfortable and easy to wear.

I love this jumper. It has a robust, hard working feel to the wool which gives it authenticity yet it is still a light enough knit so it is not heavy to wear. I found the medium a bit too baggy but the small is perfect. A great buy.
