Cocoon Slippers

I love these slippers, 2nd pair I have had, but this pair arrived and one of the side seams was not stitched properly and the foot shape is a little odd! I feel 85£ is very expensive for this slipper, the first pair were about 60/65 when I bought them

Nice slippers but very unstructured and WAY too big! I usually take a 4 but sized down to a 3 and reckon I could size down to a kid's size 10/12! I want to love them and kept them only because they are so cosy but really wish I'd sent them back before wearing. They are just going to keep falling off my feet and drive me mad. Waste of £63

Ordered two pairs of these for fit, and while comfortable, both pairs were poorly made and quite frankly, really ugly. Both of the right feet were lumpy and cut so badly that the sides of the slippers looked like they had big chunks cut out of them. So disappointed, and definitely not worth the money - sorry :-(

I’m usually a size 6 but ordered a size 5 based on previous comments and also similar slippers purchased previously from another brand which stretched. Great ‘silent’ slippers for wooden floors. Highly recommend.

These are great if you are trying barefoot shoes outdoors and have cold floors indoors. Comfy and warm.

Orders a pair. One slipper was significantly bigger than the other so returned. Tried again and ordered another set. This time the sole of one slipper was caught diagonally across the middle, leaving a ridge all the way across, making it very uncomfortable so returned again. Appear to be no quality control check before postage.

Beautiful slippers. Comfortable and warm. Do fit large though - took advice from comments and ordered a size smaller, could probably have gone down another size.

Disappointing. Difficult to get on and there is no sheepskin inside the slipper. Returned.

Just ordered my third pair. First pair chewed by dog, nearly causing me a hearth attack, the second one worn to death. Comfy, soft and warm. I wash them on 'hand wash' in the washing machine and that works great too.

I bought these slippers as a Christmas present for my mum and she says they are ‘Very warm and comfortable. I love the fact they are very light weight as I don't like heavy slippers. Brilliant’

Good quality, soft, well made pair of slippers which look great but unfortunately they’re more of a canoe than a cocoon! The sizing is way off and my usual size 5 was far too big for my feet. I am put off ordering a size down as I’m not convinced they would even be ok. Perhaps the wrong size was labelled and sent. A shame. The other item I ordered at the same time, a loungewear merino wool jumper is perfect though!

I bought my pair 2 years ago in vole. I love the comfort as will anyone who likes to go bare feet. The lefts foot was stitched badly, on complaining I was told to return them I don’t have the the time for this nonsense at that price with postage, they should be perfect. Anyhow I’ve kept them as they are light to pack for sleepovers. I have friends who love the fact you can roll them up and go. The price had gone up. I hope also the quality as I’m due another pair.

The slippers were good quality and feel, I ordered the correct size, but they really didn't stay on my feet that easily, the back is a little too short to enable them to stay on. A note of caution. The returns process is somewhat lengthy, and the customer service people are pretty useless. The tracking goes as far as them receiving the goods back, once that's happened you're just left to wait up to 14 days for a refund. Online providers need to get their act together on this. You take the money quick enough, but once the customer has returned it, they have a long wait. I'm still waiting.

So warm and comfortable and just what I was searching for. I have a bunion which always makes buying footwear tricky. These just mould to my feet.

They felt really cosy but had to be sent back because they were so big.

Best slippers ever. Super soft inside (and out) and a flexible leather sole like walking barefoot but keeping me warm and cosy.

I’ve already written one review in which I only gave 1 star because I received a pair in which one slipper was oddly shaped and larger than the other. However, Celtic rang me and have sent a replacement pair - giving me as much time as I need to return the original pair - and the replacement pair is brilliant. The colour - vole - is lovely, and the slipper are a perfect fit and very comfortable, confirming my thought that there was definitely something wrong with the first pair. Thank you, Celtic. Brilliant service, and I am a very satisfied customer!

I simply love these slippers, I am a barefoot person, but wanted a little protection and warmth, so brought these a little sort of a year ago. They are so soft and snug, leaving your feet to move and feel - great if you like crafts where you use your feet. They are tight at first and stretch to your feet - don’t rush when putting them on when new like I did, as the leather needs to be eased on until it has melded to your food.

What a disappointment. I bought these in white last year and thought they were wonderful - really comfortable and warm. However, they haven’t worn that well and I decided I needed a new pair. I ordered them in vole - lovely colour but one slipper is bigger than the other and oddly shaped so that it sits awkwardly on the foot as well as being too big. There was clearly no quality control before dispatch - the disparity can be easily spotted. They are really not comfortable enough to wear, but I’m not sure I can be bothered with the faff of returning. I thought I had found the perfect slipper, but sadly I won’t be ordering these again.

These are the most brilliant slippers warm comfortable and cool.

These are gorgeous! Soft and warm. Delivered today and I’ve had them on ever since, even though it’s June! So cosy. Not too bulky either so perfect if you’re travelling. I think these will be great on a plane journey to keep your feet warm, shall be taking them with me on my trip to Canada in September. True to size, and they are washable.. result! I highly recommend these slippers.

Absolutely perfect. Best slippers ever, allows my feet to move and my toes to spread while keeping my feet warm and not slipping on my floors.

I really like these cocoon slippers in vole.....but as soon as my husband saw them he asked why you don't make bigger sizes for men !? He hates ordinary slippers and usually just wears thick socks so these would be perfect for him in UK 12 !

I’m in love with these slippers, so comfortable you hardly know you’re wearing them, being disabled this is perfect because they are not heavy on my feet. I’ve now brought 3pairs not because they have worn out but just in case Celtic & Co stop making them

My preference is to be barefoot or just wear socks as I hate to feel encumbered, but it’s not warm enough for that, and these slippers are the perfect compromise. My feet are warm and comfortable, and I’m barely aware I’m wearing anything. The leather sole feels secure and not slippery on wooden floors. I love them. I will be ordering them again. I wondered if other colours might be on the cards … I ordered my normal size and they are perfect.

My wife wanted these for Christmas so I ordered a size 4 as that is what she is. The slippers turned out to be far to big (but were labelled as size 4), and one was bigger than the other! I think one was a size 6 at least. Returned them for a refund just after new year (phoned Celtic first), but to date have had no refund and no communication from them although we know the slippers were returned to them. Poor product and poor service.

I was somewhat disappointed with the Cocoon slippers from a comfort point of view - when standing, you can feel the ridge from the seam all around the base of the slipper. I am hoping that once worn a few times the seams will flatten out but at the moment I am disappointed. They were expensive and this was not quite what I expected. They are however very cosy!
