Block Heel Derby Boots

Sent me the wrong size. I ordered a 6/39 & was sent a 4/36.
I also ordered alongside, the regular derby boots which fit at the suggested down sizing 5/38 (I’m 5.5) these boots I wanted to compare as they looked narrower.

I struggle to find boots I like that fit with narrow ankles, wide toes & high instep. I like the original derby boots though not the oxblood.
Will the black & or tan be returning?
Woodsman look similar however are suede & sheepskin lined (both impractical for me).

I was thrilled when I managed to get these boots (in navy) in the sale with 50 % off. And they didn’t disappoint when I opened the box and admired them. So pretty! So soft. Just what ive been looking for. Then the pantomime started… With some brute force, I was able to get my right foot in and with even more huffing and puffing, I squeezed in my left foot (although wasn’t sure my foot hadn’t folded in half inside the boot). Short version …. these boots are very NARROW. If you normally wear a wider boot, which gives you pleasure each time you wear them and your feet aren’t the size of a kipper fillet, these are not the boots for you… Unless, you’d just like to admire them in the box. Begrudgingly, returned.

I love Celtic & Co boots and have quite a collection. They’re great quality and I always get compliments. I nearly didn’t order these though, because the contrast stitching put me off - but the stitching on the boots that arrived is actually navy and they’re much better for it! Change the pic C&C - it’s very misleading.

Lovely Boots. But unfortunately they were not wide enough, so had to return them. Just wish I had slim feet

Sorry, I don’t understand your last question about "your height". Not sure what that has to do with foot size but if there is any relevance it’s 5’3" 😊. Anyway, love the boots which I find stylish and crafted from lovely leather. I do find them a bit snug though and will wear them about the house to stretch them.

The boots are a rather dull colour, very roomy and heavy to wear. I love the style of the boots and really wanted them to be comfortable but disappointingly not.

A lovely pair of boots. The heel is low enough to be comfy but high enough to look elegant. Definitely what I've been looking for. Customer service was excellent too.

After seeing the brand on social media for a while, i decided to go for it and order two pairs ( as I'm a big fan of both Suede and Lace up boots). Sadly the boots were way too big and baggy. For reference I'm a Size 6 , have high arches and don't have narrow feet.

Way too narrow for me, although the length was OK. Previous boots from Celtic & Co haven't been anywhere near this narrow and have fitted me well. So I would say this style comes up very narrow.

I wear a size 11 in all of my shoes and I was so sad to receive these boots to find them too small. I spent almost 2 months searching for the perfect boots and I thought I had finally found them. 🥲 If you had a size 12 I would have gotten those. Really disappointed I couldn’t keep them. The quality of this product is excellent!! So if you make a size 12 I’ll be the first to buy them.

Lovely looking boots, very soft leather, initially a little snug around my high instep but have settled well. Good height, comfortable to wear all day. Work with trousers, skirts and dresses.

These boots are beautiful but sadly they are very narrow and even with the laces loosened they were still too narrow. So they have been returned.

I'm not a size 38 - I bought these for my daughter and she loved them. Unfortunately after a month or so of wear she noticed one heel had become damaged. Not sure how they are made but it didn't feel like a single solid construct which is what a block heel generally implies. Don't know if we got unlucky or whether it is due to cheaper construction methods. Celtic have refunded us so no complaints about the company returns policy, but just something to check when receiving them.

I never buy shoes on line so was a bit concerned they wouldn't be comfortable or fit well. I bought them in leather and they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable, the leather is lovely and the soles are flexible making them really comfortable. I have slim ankles so would have preferred them to be a little more fitted as I've pulled the laces as tight as they'll go, but otherwise I absolutely love them.

Bought 2 pairs of shoes in different sizes and needed to return one. But they made it so very difficult to just prepare the shipping label!!! Do not buy anything from this site if you think you might need to return something, it is not worth your time and effort!

I have high arches and these boots were difficult to get on. However, by loosening the laces, they fitted fine (especially after 'breaking them in' by wearing around the house for increasing time intervals) Otherwise, good quality, stylish and (eventually) very comfortable.

I purchased these boots in 2 colours, sand and black - thinking the black more practical but keen to try the sand as more stylish for special occasions. They felt very different: the sand fitted perfectly, felt soft and comfortable and zipped with ease, but the black were stiffer and harder to slip the foot into, and I struggled to do the zip up on one boot - definite red flag. Difficult to believe this was essentially the same product but a different colour!

Lovely, stylish boots which, in my opinion, fit true to size. Have only worn them out once but they were comfortable to walk in with just the right amount of height to go with a mid calf, tiered skirt. Obviously they are not as cheap as some boots of a similar design, but they are good quality and I'm pleased I bought them.

Lovely boots but extremely tight for me across the instep (my normal size 38 instead of sizing down as recommended ). I wore them for a short uncomfortable amount of time around the house wondering if they will ever give or to send them back ... My feet are on the wider side but I have other boots from Celtic and they fit fine, so sizing up in these would make them too long for me. If you know that you have a high instep I would not recommend these boots.

I recently bought the Derby boots in brown leather and absolutely love them. They are very stylish, comfortable and I have received several compliments since I got them. I had previously bought them in suede but this time found the leather boots slightly tight but no doubt they will loosen with wear.

Beautiful boots, but sadly I will return them. Bought a size 4 (I'm usually a 5) in the brown leather due to advice that they are on the big side, so size down! I'm wondering if this applies only to the leather boots ? I bought the brown Woodman boots 3 years ago (suede) and the size 4 fitted me perfectly and the size 5 was much too big!

After reading other reviews I ordered a size down, a 38, and it fits really well. The suede is lovely and I love the Camel. There was quite a bit of confusion with the colours being in wrongly labelled boxes and I received Tanners Brown first and then Sand, twice. Jane in customer services was really great and sorted this out for me in the end and I am VERY happy with my boots.

A little tight. But also cheapened - the boots no longer have hooks instead of lace holes on the shoe part. Not as stylish.

Really lovely, good quality boots at a reasonable price with a discount code. However I was sent the wrong size. I received a 40 and I ordered a 38. Customer service was really good and a size 39 was then sent but they were too big. I have now received a 38 as I originally requested and they are a perfect fit. I am, however still awaiting a refund for the returned boots. I have chased this with your customer service but was told it could take 14 days! Rather a long time in my opinion!!

I am obsessed with these boots! They are stylish, well made and comfortable. Beware, they do come up large. I am a 6.5 these days and ordered a 6 on the recommendation that they come up large. They are an extremely generous 6! To the point where I wonder if I should have ordered a size 5. As they’re ankle boots it’s not too much of a problem though. Not sending these back as an insole and socks will sort out the minor issue of fit. Now, back to contemplating which colour for my second pair….🥰
