Aqualamb Boots Calf

Sadly I am returning these boots, I was really looking forward to some warm waterproof boots for winter. I bought one size larger as my friend who is also size 6 says you need size 7 because of the sheep skin. However even though I have thin legs and very narrow feet I really struggled to get them on and hurt my feet trying to bend them in. It was really really hard, and in the end I gave up. These mid calf boots need buttons or ties -- some kind of side fastening to enable one to put them on. 😞

Hi I bought some of these boots some years ago and about to order some more, but see they are made in Britain. Can you assure me that the sheepskin is British as the abattoirs in China are appalling cruel? Many thanks Chris

The opening on these boots is way to small for anyone probably over a size 5 to get their foot in and then turn to sit in the actual boot itself. If these had a button or were slightly wider at the top, they’d be a great boot. Real shame as I loved the colour.

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever had! recommended by a friend, I was a little anxious about the price, but took the plunge, having been through so many 'cheaper' boots over the years that wore out quickly. I was advised to wear them without socks (now carry a pair of socks for emergency situations ie cuppa at a friends) and they did feel tight for the first few days and there was a bit of heel slippage - but as others say, given a few days of wear and your feet bed down and OH MY GOODNESS they are SO warm and SO comfortable!! I would thoroughly recommend. I've not tried them in the wet yet - I bought the lamb watery resistant type boots (can't remember the exact name) but am aware they aren't waterproof, so will maybe wear walking boots instead if its hoying it down. I love them. I love having warm feet.

Unfortunately had to return my boots as the circumference of the calf is far too small. I expected them to be the same size as my house boots which are wonderful. Very disappointed.

Just recevied my boots and they are truly lovely waited long time to save for these not dissapointed.I will be buying another pair like the look of the popper ones. Cant wait for cold weather to come to wear them. I am a 5 half bought a 5 .They are the Aqualamb boots.

I had inadvertently written a review of these in the men's section when it should have been for a ladies pair! My wife has had a pair of these since 2015, (worn every winter) and they still look great with no fade of the colour. They have been resoled just once todate which was mainly to ensure a deep tread.

Where to begin. I sent my Toscana boots in for a re-sole in plenty of time for the 8-10 week turnaround time before we went away. However Celtic lost my boots. They then said I could choose a replacement pair (Toscana no longer made) so I chose Aqualamb. They sent them straight away and once I had received them they emailed me to say they had now found my boots. They want another £79 to repair my boots or for me to sent the replacement boots back. However, they could not repair them in time for my trip away. Having spent hours trying to resolve the problem, the manager has refused to call me back. Although their boots are great their customer service is appalling. Communication is poor and if you have a problem they don’t deal with it. Such a shame as I really want to support a local company but they really need to up their customer service game. If you charge a lot for a product then people expect a great service. The issue is not resolved and I am still waiting for a call.

Lovely cosy comfy boots. I expect the wool will flatten with wear, but a pair of sheepskin inner soles should do the trick - as I used on my Celtic House Boots. Good fit around the calves.

I love these boots, they are super cozy, but they are not Waterproof as I found out after getting caught out in the rain. I like and trust Celticando.com, so I trust they are water-resistant (personally, I have not worn these boots in light rain conditions).

Lovely and comfortable boots but one major flaw, the leather at the heel splits where it joins the sole and then costs nearly as much as a new pair of boots to have repaired. For the price I would have expected them to last more than a couple of seasons.

This is my 3rd pair so I think that says it all! I love them and the aqualamb copes very well with long wet ground and grass, the soles are sturdier than my other two pairs. They brush up great. I haven’t had any mud so far but I’m sure they’ll cope fine. Having recently had a bad ankle break with a fair bit of metal in it now they really are invaluable to me.

These are one of my best purchases ever! Beautifully crafted; instant comfort, perfect fit. I’m a return customer having bought a pair of slipper boots that have seen me now through 2 winters.

This is my 2nd pair of Celtic boots and were bought specifically to be worn in temperatures of -10C and below. I wore them for the 1st time, with a just pair of woollen socks, when it was -14C and they passed with flying colours; my toes and calves were as snug as a bug in a rug. My only (minor) gripe is the limited (well one only) range of colours; these would be fab in a fire-engine red. Otherwise, they are exactly the quality I wanted and expected of them.

I am in love with these soft, warm boots. The quality is great. I look forward to wearing them for many years. :-)

Really love the boots, when I first put them on I wondered if I would wear them as they felt a bit weird, but after half an hour they were like I was barefoot. I have worn them nonstop since I got them. The mud just brushes off when it’s dry. I have big calves and was worried they would be tight on my leg, although they are snug, I can fit my jeans easily inside them.

Very comfortable and warm boots bought for dog walking, I haven’t tried to clean them yet but I am sure they will clean just as well as the original Celt boots. Love all the sheepskin boots, I now have 3 pairs. Sizing is accurate and delivery quick.
