Finished with a dipped hem and a traditional pleat, it'll get to know your shape over time for a fit that keeps on getting better with every wear.

Waxed cotton is a durable, long-lasting fabric that has been infused with a blend of waxes and oils. Our wax cottons have a traditional waxy handle finish, crafted to help protect you against the elements. The material is naturally breathable that adjusts to the ambient temperature, so it gets softer and more breathable in warm weather and stiffer and more wind resistant in cold conditions.

Write a reviewBeautiful quality jacket, it looks stylish and waist can be adjusted if you do not wear a thick jumper underneath. Was warm and dry in the rain. Best style wax jacket, and I have looked at loads. I am 5’7” and it comes just above the knee. Love it!
Beautiful jacket inside and out. Runs a little small, would size up next time.
I love this coat. I bought mine last October and wore it pretty much through our Toronto winter. I am wondering tho, I have a bar of lightweight wax from Barbour,, can I use this bar on my Celtic Riding Coat?

I was concerned whether to order a size 10 or 12. I bought the 12 and pleased that it fits with a jumper underneath. The sleeves are generous but not too long. I am 5ft 1” and the length is just above my knees. You can adjust the waist. I wore it today in heavy rain and I was really comfortable and dry. It also kept me warm enough, it’s supposed to be summer but feels like November here.

I feel like there is something wrong with me and not the coat seeing as I am not as happy with it as other buyers. I’ve wanted this coat for 4 years and finally decided to get it. The first coat I got was a size 14 and it was huge on me and had a very strong smell from the wax. I was a little hesitant to reorder a smaller size due to the smell and that it left a greasy, shiny residue on my hands. Not having ever had a waxed cotton garment before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I love the shape and style because most other fall jackets are boxy or puffer coats and I wanted something more elegant and this coat is exactly what I was looking for. I reordered the 12 and received it and it fit much better; still big enough to wear a jumper underneath. I wore it for 30 minutes and it made the ends of my long, fine hair all oily looking like I hadn’t showered in a few days. It also left a grease stain on the chair I had laid it on when I unpacked it and left for a day.I don’t know if this is just me or if people normally tie their hair up but sadly i am returning this coat for a second time. If this was ever made in a similar unwaxed cotton canvas I would buy it in a heartbeat. The lines are beautiful, the colour a deep beautiful brown and the quality is excellent but unfortunately the wax coating is not something I would buy again.

Can’t say enough about this coat! It fits beautifully, is fully lined and quite rain resistant. I live in Toronto, Canada and I wore this coat through most of the winter with a sweater and was very comfortable. It’s stylish, I’ve had many compliments on it. The hood is a perfect fit which I always have trouble with in other coats. The only thing is when I tighten the drawstring it tends to swing up and hit my nose when walking….a little annoying but it’s minor. Beautiful coat, well made, comfy, warm and rain resistant. Who could ask for more!
I got this coat for a Christmas present this year. I absolutely love it and get compliments on it every time I wear it. Love that the fit can be adjusted on the sides.
A lovely coat but comes up a bit large so sadly had to return and smaller size wasn't available. I do think it's quite expensive but no doubt would last well.
