Material
Created exclusively for Celtic & Co., this Recycled Cashmere Merino Lambswool Blend uses upcycled cashmere jumper offcuts from our sister brand Turtle Doves. In collaboration with iinouiio, a shoddy spinner based in Yorkshire, the cashmere is mechanically recycled by being chopped up, re-carded, and spun back into fiber. It is then blended with pre-consumer Recycled Merino yarn for added strength. This merino yarn comes from "offcuts" of virgin merino wool spinning that would normally be discarded. The yarn’s color naturally arises from the blend of different cashmere offcuts, carefully sorted by color before recycling.

Care
Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.
