The coat Is Beautiful And I loved it very much BUT it is way Too Big! So sadly I have had to return it. I will think about whether I order a smaller size as I like the coat very much.

Apologies to be negative here, but I'm disappointed as I normally rely on Celtic for all my winter staples: coats, boots and jumpers! But, I'm so disappointed – this coat isn't a patch on Celtic's 'Easy Care Waxed Cotton Parka' I bought a few years ago, which was stolen in the spring and which I'd hoped this would replace. The difference is in size and cut. This new one is huge and (to me) totally unstylish, whereas from the moment I first tried on that previous Parka-style one, I felt it 'cut a dash' – it simply always looked good. How I miss that coat. I feel sad to send anything back to Celtic & Co, but I'm keen to have a coat that looks and feels much better than this one.

I so wanted to love this coat! However it was way too big, the shoulders were extremely wide and there was a tent like quality to it. It felt terrific quality, but there was way too much of it. The design wasn't quite right either - the sleeves were quite wide and over long, no ribbed cuff inside so I think the rainwater would have come in, and the zip whilst double-ended was quite short so you would rely on the poppers to do the covering up from mid-thigh length to the hem. The hood was a little mean. The colour was much browner and darker than the majority of the photos, so just not quite right, especially for the price. I am willing to pay for British manufacturing but it has to be good. I really wish I had loved it as much as I thought I would. Sadly returning item.
