The uppers are crafted in softer-than-soft vegetable-tanned leather, while the durable sole is in recycled rubber – all part of our commitment to environmental responsibility. Rich leather also makes an appearance at the lining, enhancing breathability and ensuring lasting comfort. A stitched welt adds subtle colour contrast and an authentic detail, and tonal laces give this adaptable pair a clean finish.

We've selected locally sourced leather that has been vegetable tanned, using natural substances to lift and enhance its inherent characteristics.
Even better? This effect will only deepen and intensify over time, so your boots will continue to impress with age.
Caring for your veg tanned shoes: due to veg tanned leather being less resistant to abrasion than more traditionally tanned leathers, these items may require more attentive care.

Care
Washing Instructions
We recommend protecting your leather goods with a protector spray. This will form an invisible shield to repel liquids and stains, and dry clear so is suitable for both footwear and clothing. If your leather boots have seen better days, start by using a soft brush to remove any mud or dirt, then use a universal cleaner to wipe them down.
When using leather cleaners on our products, we would advise you to do a small patch test on a discreet area initially before cleaning the entire product.

Write a reviewDamaged box, damaged squashed shoes, and the shoe itself was poorly designed. saggy around the ankle, it looked like I had paid for a 2nd hand pair of shoes. I dont think anyone from the factory to packing even looked at the state of the shoes , if they had they would not have shipped them out. I was so disappointed .

I love the design of these shoes, but I’ve had two pairs of them now, the first were massively too big despite being my normal size, and the second pair were faulty. Celtic&Co, please go back to the drawing board with these brogues, and check the quality before sending them out, they’re a great addition to the range, but its just not working, is it?

Unfortunately I had to return the shoes because I found them difficult to put on. This was not due to any fault in the product, but due to the fact that I have arthritis in my toes.
Best shoes I’ve ever purchased. I can be a 37 or 38 depending on fit. I went with the 37 and find they fit perfectly. I do not have a gaps around the heel as previously reported. They’re super cute, nice leather, wide enough toe box to not bother my bunion, grippy sole and did I mention super cute?!
I received my brogues a little while ago. They initially were to big as the wrong size was sent, 6 instead of 5. I phoned Celtic and co to let them know I’d received the wrong size. Celtic sent out the correct size the following day. Amazing service. I’m delighted with my brogues though they do come up big.
These were exactly what I was looking for, and no doubt the most attractive and well made out there BUT! The sizing was huge, particularly all around the ankle - massive gaps all the way round, proportioned like a man's shoe. Totally unwearable. I am so disappointed.
