Shearling is a sustainable material known for its temperature-regulating properties, meaning that your feet will be kept warm in winter and cool when the temperature rises.

British Shearling

Here at Celtic and Co., we only use the finest shearling to manufacture our products. We are proud supporters of British farming and only source shearling that is a by-product of the UK farming industry. We take a material that would otherwise be incinerated and handcraft luxury footwear and accessories.

As a result of the cold British climate, British shearling is thicker, warmer and more durable than alternative shearlings. This makes our slippers the ultimate way to feel cosy and luxurious as the weather cools.

Machine Washable

Almost all our shearling boots and slippers are machine washable. Simply place them in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine and wash on a 30 degree cycle. Be sure to check the product pages as some specific slippers should be sponge cleaned only, particularly those that feature a Toscana trim, or our water resistant Aqualamb boots.
