Go Green!

Go green, not just for St. Patrick's Day but for the love of the colour as well as the planet. This season, we're offering a wider range of our natural products in shades of khaki, moss, olive and moorland. So whether you're wanting to invest in a wax coat this spring or some light linen pieces for the warmer months ahead, you'll make your friends green with envy with these top picks...

The Feel Good Factor

We live in a beautiful part of the world here in Cornwall, and we want to keep it that way. Our products are only ever crafted from natural fibres such as sheepskin, wool and linen as they are renewable and don't create plastic micro-fibres that go onto pollute our oceans.

So it's time to jump on the green bandwagon and invest in greener clothing. For this week's blog, we decided to quite literally go with the green theme and introduce you to our favourite feel-good green pieces...

To begin, we simply had to start with highlighting one of our all-time bestselling Geelong knits - the Supersoft Slouch Jumper. A customer favourite and one you'll be reaching for all year round, the Supersoft is crafted from 100% Geelong lambswool here in Great Britain. The fibres are specially spun to trap more air, making it fabulously warm yet lightweight. It is also lovely and soft against the skin, making this jumper a real winner!

If you like the jumper, you'll be sure to love our Supersoft Slouch Dress, also available in an array of different colours and block patterns.

Light Linens

This season we have expanded our linen offerings. Linen flies the green flag for being a completely natural material. It is lightweight and breathable, allowing air to pass through, keeping skin cool and comfortable. Linen is also naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, making it the perfect choice for summer.

First up is the Linen Long Sleeve Dolman - a classic long sleeve top with ruched side details that sit nicely on the hips. A real easy throw on piece, perfect for all-season wear with it's long sleeves for extra coverage. Looking for something lighter and want to get those arms out? Crafted from 50% linen and 50% cotton, our Linen Cotton Tie Waist Top is an easy-wear t-shirt style, featuring an adjustable tie waist that you can style completely how you wish. During warmer days, pair with your favourite denim skirt and trainers, then as the sun goes down, layer up with a chunky knit for a textured finish to an effortlessly stylish outfit. Lastly, another t-shirt style with a twist this season is our Linen Open Sleeve Top. From lazy days to beach days, it will see you through any occasion and is perfect for layering under your favourite shirt or cardi.

Even though we've picked our favourite green styles to highlight here, this season's collection also offers linens in wearable navy's and pinks if green isn't quite your thing.

Inside and Out

For the home - When relaxing at home, there's nothing better than slipping your feet into a pair of our heavenly handcrafted, sheepskin slippers. For the past 28 years, we've been crafting our footwear in our workshop, right here on the Cornish coast, and even though the range of styles and colours have grown, our best-selling product by far is still the Ladies' Sheepskin Bootee Slipper. A true classic that never fails to impress with it's ankle cuff that can be worn up or down to fully cocoon the feet.

If an easier on-off slipper suits you better, our Ladies' Turnback Mules are offered in just as many colour options as the Bootee Slipper and features a hard wearing indoor/outdoor sole too.

For the great outdoors - Step out with confidence and face all the elements in our Waxed Cotton Parka. Offered in khaki, grey and red, and made with newly developed waxed cotton using a combination of our driest wax and aero-soft tumble finishing, this parka is perfect for coastal walks and commutes in the city alike.

Pair with some of our Original Celt Boots (pictured here in a lovely moorland green of course), the ultimate in warmth, comfort and low-key luxury. Designed to also withstand the elements, they are expertly handcrafted in Cornwall using 100% British sheepskin and can be machine washed when needed.
