OMG!!! This is by far my absolutely favorite jacket/coat. I just received this and it fits perfectly. I am 5'2" 105 pounds and it fits like a glove. I was concerned that it would be too long, but no way. I got the size 4 US and was not disappointed. I love Celtic & Company. I cannot wait to wear this jacket while walking my dog today. It is about 39 degrees here in Denver, Colorado. It will be perfect. I would wear this March through early November here in Colorado. We do not really get rain, but we do get snow. I love this.

I’m sooo pleased with my coat! Like others, I dithered between a 12 & a 14, as I’m between sizes, and want it to last forever! I went for the 14 and it’s great with jumpers underneath on the first popper & when (hopefully in the not too distant future) the weather warms up, I can put the adjustable strap on the tighter setting so it looks more fitted. I love the size of the hood, it keeps me dry & so far hasn’t blown down, despite lots of wind & rain. Agreed, the sleeves are long, but folded back in dry weather are fine, & when it rains I turn them down & zip them up. All my other coats are now redundant! Not cheap, but fantastic quality. Thank you.

Love it! This was the item that directed me to Celtic & Co in the first place. I'm a 12/14 with a straight ish build and am 5'6". I bought the 12 because it's not a cheap coat and I WILL be a size 10/12 again soon :-). I was worried it might be too small, but needn't have been. The fit is big enough, although if you wanted say an aran jumper underneath then go for the 14. A couple of features worth noting: The arms are slightly long. Although I have to admit to having slightly shorter than average arms I think this would still count as slightly long in the arm. I prefer long arms in coats and you can fold the cuffs for a brown corded cuff. Don't let this put you off at all. I love my coat and wouldn't change the arms. Second thing is the hood, which when I bought mine didn't have an image of the hood in the listing, but so pleased to see it does now. The hood is weird. It's very 'head shaped' which I suppose is to help it stay up and prevent rain ingress and is therefore very sensible, but it's definitely an odd narrow shape and not excessively big. The only thing I would change, and it would be just a tweak, would be for a more generous hood. Excellent packing, reasonable delivery and it won't be my last purchase from here.

My jacket just arrived yesterday. I was torn on what size to order since I'm fairly busty for my over-all size. On the size chart I fall in the small category for hips, the small-medium category with a 29in waist, but the medium, almost large for bust. I went with the US size 8 (UK 12) and I think that was the best choice. Any larger and I would have been absolutely swimming in the coat, there is ample room everywhere, except the bust. I must say I'm only slightly disappointed because on the model and the photos it doesn't not look quote so large at the bottom of the coat as it is, it dramatically flairs out at the bottom after it comes nicely in at the waist. I had to tighten it as much as it goes in the waist. I would return it for a 6 (UK10), but I would fear the bust and shoulders to be then too small as they fit just nicely now. Ideally this coat would come in more at the bottom for me as right now it very much feels like I have a coat with a hoop skirt at the bottom lol. I didn't expect this, though overall it's beautifully made and where I live on the West Coast of Canada, we get rain for more than half of the year so I know I will use it well.
