By popular demand, we've kept all the best bits of our parka jacket and updated it with a few extra tricks this season.
The signature styling remains with leather toggles, cuff straps and checked lining for authentic character, but the outer has been reproduced in our new easy-care Stay Wax cotton. This innovative waxing treatment delivers reliable water repellency that'll withstand wash and wear.
We've also added in hand-warming pockets so you can keep cold hands toasty when the temperature dips, plus we've trimmed the collar with a cotton-moleskin accent for a classic touch.

Material
Made with Stay Waxed Cotton: We use the original manufacturer of waxed cotton outerwear to create this modern stay wax cotton jacket. Stay Wax cotton is machine washable and will retain its water-repellency with no need to re-proof. They use a special blend of waxes to create a fabric with a slightly drier hand than traditional wax, with the added benefit of being machine washable.

Great coat, just what I needed, not too heavy, waterproof and has a decent, subtle hood. Ordered a size 12 which is my typical size, very comfortable with thick jumper under or just a t shirt. Well made with style.

Great quality, solidly constructed, and super wind-resistant. I ordered this in Olive in a size 6, and it fits me perfectly. I am a small in all Celtic sweaters, but i think the 4 would have been too tight on me. It is a European cut that at first i wasn’t sure about (the back isn’t straight; it’s a bit rounded), but now i love it. I have received a lot of compliments.

I purchased this product in Olive green and have been very happy with the garment. It does the job perfectly and is stylish too. It has a collar which is great when a little chilly, (many coats just have a hood attached to the coat (no collar) which in my experience causes the hood to pull on the coat making it uncomfortable). It is true to size, I am a size 10 and 5’ 8” tall, it left room for a cosy jumper underneath. It was quick and easy to order on line and arrived within a couple of days. Thank you Celtic & co.

Even better than I had hoped--this jacket does everything. It's flattering, yet roomy enough to wear a fuzzy fleece underneath in cold weather. The wool lining is perfectly smooth. This is a "Wear everywhere for every purpose" jacket that I expect to use for many years, well worth the price.
