My slippers arrived today, love them so much now ordering them in the second colour :)

I bought these for my mother who loves the version in oatmeal. They are unavailable in her size so I went for this one and she loves them.

I usually take 6.5 but took advice from reviews and ordered a size 6. Was initially concerned that the soles wouldn't be big enough but they are. The slippers felt tight when I first put them on and after a couple of hours the left foot is perfect. The right foot is too big (and this is my biggest foot). Could do with some interfacing inside the fur to stop them stretching. Also for the price of the slippers I was surprised that the soles are bound with grosgrain ribbon, leather would have been more durable as I don't think the ribbon will wear very well. Having said all that I like them.

In response to your comment - I chose my normal size (7). I've had to go down a whole size (6) and these are ok. They are lovely slippers but they do stretch a lot (on a study of two pairs now) and whilst the sheepskin beds do mould to the feet, they still slip off very easily. Lovely to look at and comfortable, but not the most practical slippers I've owned.
