British Shearling is natural Shearling sourced from sheep raised in the UK, valued for its thick, soft wool and durable leather hide. Known for excellent insulation, breathability, and comfort.

Our Home-Produced products are lovingly made in our own Cornish workshop, where skilled craftspeople bring each piece to life from start to finish. This close-to-home production allows us to uphold exceptional quality, care and attention in every detail, creating timeless designs that are made to be worn and treasured for years. Proudly made in Britain, they carry the added significance of being genuinely crafted in Cornwall at the heart of Celtic & Co., where heritage and craftsmanship come together in every stitch.

Size & Fit

When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.

Care

30 Degree Gentle Machine Wash

Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.
