Our Philosophy

We love the area that we live and work in so we always try and look after our environment and support the local economy.

These are some of the things that are important to us…

philosophy 1.jpg

Our sheepskin boots and slippers are all hand-made in our own, purpose built factory in Cornwall by a team of skilled local craftspeople. This means we can always maintain the highest standards of production and also provide local employment opportunity outside of the traditional tourist season.

We passionately support British manufacture, sourcing almost all of our products and materials from Great Britain. With our suppliers being so close to home we have great relationships with them and can make sure that we always offer our customers the highest levels of quality. It means we keep our carbon footprint as small as possible too.

philosophy 2.jpg

We choose only the finest organic or natural fibres for all of our products because they are completely sustainable and a pleasure to wear.

All our Sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry. This part of the animal would otherwise go unused and would be wasted.

We don’t believe in fast fashion. Our collections are stylish and timeless and if cared for will last for many years. We offer a repair & resole service for our boots to prolong their life.

philosophy 3.jpg

We actively promote recycling throughout our offices, warehouse & factory. All paper, card, pallets, tins, plastics, ink & toner cartridges, catalogues and magazines are recycled. We use recycled plastic bags, biodegradable poly-wrap and all our delivery, gift boxes, tissue and void fill for packaging are 100% recycled and compostable.

We print all our catalogues and promotional literature on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper, and offer a Carbon Neutral delivery service.
