Cleaning footwear can often sit at the top of the list when it comes to daunting tasks. This will not only improve their durability, performance and appearance, but their overall lifespan too! WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO CLEAN YOUR LEATHER FOOTWEAR
- Foot brush / old towel
- Damp Cloth
- Suede / Leather Cleaner
- Buffing brush (optional)
STEP BY STEP
Step 1: To ensure a thorough clean of your leather footwear, we advise that you initially remove the shoelaces.
Step 2: Using a foot brush or old tea towel, remove all the dirt and debris - depending on the condition of the shoe this can be the tough bit! It's always worth being thorough at this stage as you will get better results at the end.
Step 3: Grab your suede / leather cleaner and simply apply it to your shoe in circular motions.
Step 4: After a moment, use a damp cloth to wipe clean.
Step 5: Leave to dry off or buff them dry before rethreading the laces. And there you have it, your leather footwear is as good as new!
Top Tip: We recommend carrying out a patch test on a discreet area before cleaning the entire surface of your leather shoe or boot!
