Celtic & Co took Cornwall to London

To celebrate our heritage and British manufacturing, we exhibited at the Best of Britannia exhibition.

Held in the famous Farmiloe building - where many of the Batman films have been shot - in Clerkenwell, London, the Best of Britannia show transformed the Farmiloe into Britain's largest pop up department store, featuring over 200 of the best of British brands. Best of Britannia ran from 2nd-4th Oct 2014, seeing hundreds of people pass through the doors and visit the Celtic & Co stand, creating a buzz around our lovely products. Wayne Hemingway introduced 'Buy British Day' on the Friday, with the aim of promoting British manufacturing. This received plenty of coverage on BBC1 as well as national papers.

We exhibited our full range of Cornish handcrafted sheepskin footwear as well as our British made chunky knits, warm accessories and luxurious outerwear. We enjoyed telling visitors to the stand that our iconic sheepskin boots & slippers are true originals, as they are still handcrafted in our factory in Newquay, Cornwall from the finest British sheepskin by our talented factory staff. We’re were proud to boast that the skins we use to manufacture our sheepskin footwear are from British sheep. Always a by-product of the UK & European farming industry which operate within the highest regulations for animal welfare, we choose the finest sheepskin, making our products ethical & high quality. Check out our British made footwear here.
