We are thrilled to announce that her Majesty The Queen has approved the Prime Minister's recommendation that Celtic & Co. should receive a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, the highest official UK award for British businesses.To be recognised by the Queen for this effort is the pinnacle of our achievements so far and drives us to stay true to our values as we continue to grow.
In 2017 we were overjoyed to win the title of Best International Business at the Cornwall Business Awards, an organisation in its 13th year of recognising the best of Cornish businesses. It was a great honour to receive this, highlighting our dedication to expanding our business into multiple overseas markets and celebrating our recent efforts in the US. This year we have been nominated for this award again, so watch this space to find out if we keep our crown for 2018…
Last year we were also awarded with Manufacturing Excellence for the South West Region at the National Family Business Awards, formerly known as the Red Ribbon Awards. As a relatively small and growing business, it was wonderful to receive recognition for our passion of traditional craftsmanship within a contemporary business environment. The judges comments included: “We felt the culture and values presented by the team at Celtic & Co really encompass what it is to be a family business.”
In 2017 we were awarded the Masterclass Marketing Award for Marketing Excellence in Fashion and Luxury, acknowledging our efforts towards digital marketing and specifically email as a communication channel. With ecommerce and mail order at our core, it was a wonderful credit to be recognised for our focus on digital marketing and online content, something that we continue to improve to enrich our customers experience with us.
In 2017 we were shortlisted for the Best Customer Satisfaction Strategy, an award held by the Institute of Customer Services, an Independent membership body for the customer service sector. This nomination reflects our aim to satisfy and exceed our customers’ expectations whilst dealing with us at each point of contact, an effort which we continue to strive towards daily within the entire company.
