Inside our Cornish workshop
Handmade sheepskin boots, slippers, gilets and recycled cashmere gloves, crafted on site.
At the heart of Celtic & Co. is our on-site workshop in Newquay, Cornwall, where we handcraft our iconic sheepskin boots and slippers and recycled cashmere gloves. This is where quality and care come together, where skilled makers use traditional techniques to bring our designs to life using natural materials. By keeping production on site, we maintain close control over every step, ensure consistent quality and support local jobs and traditional skills.
When you choose items made in our Cornish workshop, you're choosing authenticity, craftsmanship, and the benefits of buying British made, from reduced transport impact to direct support for UK manufacturing.
Our team of experts

5 benefits of buying from Celtic & Co.
1. Award-winning quality
Recognised for excellence, Celtic & Co. holds a King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, the highest official UK award for British businesses.
We also hold B Corp certification, the gold standard for ethical and responsible business practices. These honours reflect our commitment to responsible craftsmanship, high-quality British manufacturing, and doing business with care—for our customers, our community, and the planet.

2. British made
Crafted close to home, our British made products reflect care, consistency, and local expertise. Supporting UK manufacturing means shorter supply chains, reduced emissions, and a stronger connection between maker and wearer. It's quality you can trust, made right here in Cornwall.

3. What sets British sheepskin apart?
For over 6,000 years, British sheep have adapted to our unique weather and landscape—developing sheepskin that’s perfectly suited to keeping you warm, comfortable, and protected. The result is a material that’s naturally thicker, warmer, and more durable than many alternatives.
This makes our slippers the ultimate way to feel cosy and luxurious, season after season. Sheepskin is naturally insulating, breathable, and moisture-wicking—keeping feet warm in winter and cool in summer. Its soft fleece lining offers exceptional comfort, while the hard-wearing hide gently moulds to your foot over time, creating a personalised fit. A timeless material for everyday wear.

4. Over 30 years of sheepskin craftsmanship
Handmaking boots and slippers in Cornwall since 1990
For more than three decades, we’ve been handcrafting sheepskin boots and slippers in our Cornish workshop. Every pair reflects years of experience, traditional techniques, and attention to detail. Designed for comfort and built to last, our footwear brings timeless quality.

5. Resole service
Extend the life of your sheepskin boots, our in-house resole service restores your well-loved favourites.
Crafted to last and built to be repaired, our sheepskin boots can be resoled right here in our Newquay workshop. If your soles are worn but the uppers are still going strong, our expert team will carefully replace them — helping you reduce waste and get more wear from the boots you love.
"I've been wearing Celtic & Co boots for years. Sizing is always reliable, quality is always superb, and I love the fact that I am supporting a British company based in Cornwall, which is one of my favourite places."
