Supersoft Slouch Dress

I have bought this fabulous dress in every colour that Celtic has produced. I absolutely LOVE IT.
I also have one you made in a lovely pastel pink colour some years ago, which unfortunately got damaged. I have written to Celtic pleading with you to make it again, or even lilac or pale blue or mint 🤷🏻‍♀️. A colour that is lighter than the dark colour you have been producing for the past few years. In fact all the years I have been buying from Celtic.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE hear my plea.

I have bought two of these dresses and they are very useful for the winter months. I would buy one every year except for the very dull colours that Celtic has produced them in the last few years. I don't do black, brown or navy blue. I prefer more colourful clothing in soft feminine pastels, blues, pinks, rust, or turquoise. So I was delighted to see this in blue this year and will probably buy it If still available after Christmas in the sale (as it is way too expensive at full price). The wool is lovely and soft it's a nice comfortable slouchy fit. When I was a size 10 the XS fitted best, now I am a size 12 the S fits well. So it does come up a little bit big. Style wise it's a bit too long to go over trousers and a bit too short to wear as a dress, as it comes to mid thigh to a few inches above the knee (depending on your leg length). Ideally I would like it to be one or the other. A long jumper or a knee length dress. I have worn it with leggings, but now I'm in my 50s it feels like I need a slightly longer length. The other knitted dresses are too long being below the knee. The only issue with quality I have had is that after a few years the neckline starts to disintegrate! I have had to reinforce it by sewing it all the way around on one of the dresses. But I have had it for a few years so.....

I already had 2 of these dresses from last year . I had many comments as I usually wear midi length but they seem to flatter my shape - just reaching my knee . Look good with thick tights and ankle boots . Treated myself to 2 more this year ! Very happy !!

Love this dress - I have two already and always look forward to seeing new colours. The Geelong wool is wonderfully soft and warm without being heavy. It’s a versatile dress which looks great with boots, and very easy to wear. People always ask me where I bought it. Being petite I was very glad to find a woollen dress I could wear - normally they don’t fit. This one is actually flattering! I like the fact that Celtic & Co seem to maintain consistent quality for something that’s affordable.

A lovely dress but I found it too slimline. . More bell shaped than the two toned dress previously bought. I have returned this item

This is my 3rd one of these dresses, I absolutely love them. The fit is perfect and they are so cosy for autumn/winter. The denim colour is beautiful .

Love this dress - expensive but worth it with the discount. Wish I could have the bottle green one too. It’s soft, warm, and looks fab. So many compliments and I’ve only worn it once. I read the reviews, and ordered medium (I’m a 10/12) which is perfect, not too tight and not baggy. Nice length, about 2” above the knee.

I'm a size 10 and ordered the Small size at first but it was tight around the hips and not flattering. So I sized up and the Medium is much better for me - genuinely slouchy, and exceptionally comfortable as the wool is totally non-itchy. So far I've worn it for work, a day out and an evening out so it's very versatile because of the simple design. Maybe the neckline could be a tad higher. But very much enjoying wearing the dress and am hoping for another colour next winter.

I have bought more than ten of these fantastic dresses over the years and I absolutely love them - they are so flattering and the sleeves are always long enough to keep my wrists warm. It is also wonderful that they are made here in Britain - I can buy dresses made elsewhere from so many other websites but only Celtic sell British-made woollen dresses for such a fair price. Please never stop selling British manufactured products as it truly is your USP.

I have every colour! this is my 3rd Charcoal dress goes well for any occasion dress it up with great scarf/shawl , high neck jumpers out to dinner or drinks a must have !! The length is perfect!! Thick woolly tights and chunky Celtic and co boots what more does a girl want💕

I love these jumpers, I just wish you would do them in Olive again!

I know Celtic & Co products come up large and I'm between medium and large. Originally went for the medium which fitted great round shoulders and arms but was a bit clingy on the hips so returned it and went for the large. This came up baggy in the sleeves but felt better round midriff and hips. It's soft and can be worn with thick tights of leggings. I feel the cold easily so it was a perfect Christmas Day outfit. However, I haven't washed it yet and suspect it might lose its shape after a few wears. So good so far. Glad I used the 15% discount offer.

I bought the amber/russet slouch dress and immediately LOVED it; I then bought the charcoal grey and the first time I wore it, people were telling me how lovely it looked……yup, a really good quality purchase. Easy to literally pull on, dress up or make casually stylish. Recommended!

Love this dress! I’ve bought a few Celtic knitted dresses over the years and I particularly love the length & fit of this one, not too clingy and equally not too baggy. So easy to wear for work & play. Please would you consider more colours, in particular Oatmeal, Burgundy, Chocolate Brown

Wow I love these dresses. I was uncertain about the length as I usually wear my dresses ankle length as I am only 5'1 . Thought I would give them a go . They just touch the knee and look good with thick tights and ankle boots. I am a 12/14 in a loose fit and the medium is perfect. Shows no lumps and bumps and feels so comfortable . The neckline is so flattering as a high neck doesn't suit me as I am short and full busted. I'm so happy and am even tempted to go for a 3rd !

Absolutely in love with this dress, it reaches my knees at 5"1 but with a pair a boots works wonderfully. Soft and cosy whilst being smart enough to wear in the office.

These are lovely, soft and flattering and I've been buying them for years. Please consider reintroducing some lighter plain colours as you had before - soft blues , greys, greens?.

Received the package without any issues and quicker than anticipated. The dress is lovely and corresponds to what is shown in the photos. The fabric is soft and lightweight enough for something made entirely out of wool. The fit is good, loose and comfortable without being baggy; an S for 1, 72 cm hits mid-thy. For a shorter and more snug fit an XS would have donne very well I think, as the sleeve length is quite generous. Very tempted to get other colors.

I bought this dress in Navy Fairisle some years ago and LOVED it! Such a beautiful soft wool, a timeless design and a great, flattering shape! I received many compliments when I wore it. Sadly I shrank it (my fault). Please please please can you consider adding Navy Fairisle back into the next range? I would buy multiples!

A lovely dress. The fit is good, I am a size 16 and bought large. The shape is very nice and hides my body faults! The colour is true to print and is in all the colours I feel comfortable in. I would buy this again when I have saved my pennies.

I love this style - but wish the Olive and Brown colours were re-introduced so I could replace my existing almost worn out ones.

Would not recommend....worn once and goes totally out of shape. Had bought 2 of the jumpers and love them. So disappointed with this purchase as

Lovely dress. Looks good, very comfortable. Would never take the risk of washing it. May buy the newer one in a different color. Also, when my older dress got a small hole in it, all I had to do was call to receive wool of the same color to make repair. Good service, good product.

I love this style dress and have one from a couple of years ago. Size is great, material is lovely, but my reason for only 3 stars is that the colour I ordered (Icelandic Blue) is nothing like that advertised on the website! I was expecting a bright sort of turquoise/teal colour and instead it is very dark, and more like a 'forest green' not blue at all. I have kept it as its not a bad colour, but please can you try and get your online pictures more representative of reality.

Beautiful colour, excellent length, good quality, lovely to touch, unfortunately far too boxy cut, so even slightly smaller would probably look to baggy. Sent back unfortunately

This is a lovely, comfortable dress and a beautiful colour. I love it and I know I will wear and wear it. The only slight criticism I have is that the label, which is quite thick, is sewn into the side seam and makes it stick out a bit at that point.
