Chunky, ring-pull brass zips lend a fashion edge to our handmade, shearling Aviator Boots. Wear them done up, showcasing the feature zip, or fold them down to expose the contrast fleece. Handmade here in Cornwall from pure British shearling with cushioned insole, suede heel protectors and rugged rubber sole.

  • Height: 11½"
  • 100% shearling
  • Made in Great Britain
  • Sponge clean

Also available in Regular height - 8½"

When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.

Sponge Clean

We recommend sponge cleaning with warm soapy water. Leave to dry out naturally away from heat and direct sunlight.

Boots arrived in double quick time and initial impressions excellent: a good, sold looking boot and a lovely colour (Blue Iris) Had been a little sceptical over sizing as in normal footwear I have shoes in UK6, 6.5, and 7 but was persuaded, by the advice on line, and over the phone when I sought to clarify which would be best, to get the 6. My sceptism continued when I first tried the boots on as they felt VERY snug. However, the advice is quite correct and within 5 or 10 minutes they felt cosy AND comfortable. Having said this, I am not sure how easy I would have found it to get the boots on and off at this stage were it not for the long zip, although the zip was largely why I chose this style. They still feel on the roomy side round the heel but with an AA width fitting in this part of my foot (the rest was a B, until I got bunions which have pushed them to a C/D) I am used to this. Overall, I totally love the look, and looking forward to wearing them.

I am love with my new aviator calf books. These are my third pair of Celtics boots. Every couple Christmas's my mother buys me a new pair. They are well made , last so well as I really put them to the test as I wear them all winter and walk miles and miles in them. Celtic & co are a fantastic British company and I know if there was a problem with my boots they would do all they can to fix it .

I'm returning these lovely boots because, sadly, they don't suit my awkward feet. I bought 7s - my true size. The toes are snug, as expected when the boots are brand new. However, my heels lifted up at every step. I don't want to try a size down because I had surgery on both feet last year, and don't want to cramp them. What a pity! The style of the boots is otherwise excellent, the zip making for it easy to put them on,and they are obviously cosy. And I really want to buy British!
