These sandals are beautifully made, of good quality, soft leather. The length and width of the foot are fine, but the cross over straps are lose and there is no way of tightening them further. I nearly sent them back, but I like them and have got used to walking around in them although not for very long. They will not get as much use as I was hoping for though.

I have had to return these sandals as they were a little small

Going by the recommendations I ordered a size 40, though this is traditionally a size 6.5, not a 7 as it currently touted by many companies. I’m an 7, so usually go for an 41 (an 7-7.5). Anyway I do vary as I have wide feet and can happily wear a 40 in and the occasional other brand, so took a chance. However they were too small in both length and width, so I am really hoping they will just exchange these for me, as I pontificated for weeks over buying these and got a discount code. Apart from that they seemed comfy (if they’d fitted), were soft suede and a beautiful colour. Did have a very strong smell though (chemically), so hoping that would fade, as it was quite unpleasant.

I'm not sure why the recommendation is to size down. I'm normally a 6.5 shoe so I ordered a 39 but they weren't long enough for my feet. I had previously checked the reviews and lots of people said they needed to size down because the sandals were too wide. However I have fairly narrow feet and they were the right width for me. So I had to send them back and re-order a size 40 and they fit fine. The buckle is pressing against my ankle a bit but I think I just need to wear them in. They're beautiful looking sandals though so hopefully I'll get there soon!

Have been waiting for summer and today is the first time I have been able to wear these sandals ‘out’!! They are very comfortable and I really like the shade of blue. The footbed is excellent and the straps nice and soft so no chafing. They will get a lot of wear on holiday. I did buy them on offer and would find them quite expensive otherwise.

I am pleased with these sandals in so far that they are comfortable for every day wear. The cork soles is shaped to your foot and the straps are soft and won’t cause blisters. They are not very elegant though and I would not wear them for a special occasion. I do find them good value for money.

Waited for ages for these on wait list and was so excited when the parcel arrived. I'm very sorry but I was disappointed. I saw the reviews saying to size down and as I'm often just over a size 37, I confidently ordered a 37. However, they are too big widthways but not lengthways and I think it should be clarified in the description that they are a wide fitting. Lengthways, unfortunately my toes rested on the lip of the toe edge which made the uncomfortable. If I altered the back strap to lengthen it, they were too loose all around my foot and it slid forward. If I tightened the back strap, my foot was forward anyway. The other strap CANNOT be adjusted to hold your foot tighter as it is too wide. It can only be loosened. The back strap and buckle sit quite high so press into the ankle bone. The metal attaching the buckle and the strap are exposed on the inside of the strap. The sole is textured but looks a bit slippery The positive things - the footbed feels soft, the suede is soft and the khaki is a nice colour and they are very lightweight. Overall, they would work for a wider foot, but are cut too large for an average foot because of the limited adjustability. I thought the price was reasonable when I ordered but not sure the quality of the overall construction warrants it. Thankyou to Celtic for the excellent returns process, although refunds take a little while to process after return, it makes a huge difference when it's made easy for customers. Also, the plastic free packaging is brilliant.

Beautifully soft straps and lovely, comfortable base, I think I'm going to live in these when it's time to ditch the socks and boots. The colour is also gorgeous and perfect with jeans - and everything else.

The best sandals I have ever owned! I have problems with my feet and with these I have no pain and they look lovely. Just hoping that they come back into stock in my size so I can buy a pair in a different colour!
