This Donegal yarn blends merino wool with silk, cashmere and cotton. Loaded with colourful character, the Donegal wool we use is carefully selected to ensure it meets exacting standards. The addition of silk and cotton adds durability and longevity to the sock. Donegal wool balances rustic charm with luxurious softness.

Care
Can be hand washed in cold water using Celtic Wool Wash, or machine washed at a gentle 30 degree spin. For more detailed instructions please see care label.
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.
To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.
Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

I was interested to read the other review of these. I too found the top of the sock far too tight (and inflexible - I.e. it’s not possible to stretch them) and almost impossible to get on. After washing I couldn’t get them on and gave them to my sister. I assume that I was just unfortunate and that they do not all have such “ fixed” tops. Great when they were on though - nice socks!
