King's Award For Enterprise

We are thrilled to announce that in April 2023 we were awarded our first King's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.

This comes as exciting news ahead of the Coronation on Saturday 6th May!

The King’s Awards for Enterprise was previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, the new name reflecting His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The award programme, which is now in its 57th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, celebrating the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services.

We've been recognised specifically for our excellence in International Trade - A huge thank you to our lovely customers around the world!

Zoe Bray, managing director at Celtic & Co., said: “Being awarded one of the first King’s Awards for Enterprise in International Trade is a real honour for the whole team at Celtic & Co.

“Having won two Queen’s Awards previously in the category in 2018 and 2020, we know what positive impact the accolade has on the way our customers, particularly in the US and Australia, perceive our brand due to the connection with the Royal Family, as well as the recognised mark of high quality.”

H.M took a tour of our factory and warehouse, learning about the processes undertaken in making our famous sheepskin boots and slippers along the way. He spoke passionately with the Celtic team regarding the importance of the Campaign for Wool initiative.

H.M is an avid supporter in raising awareness amongst consumers about the unique, renewable & natural benefits offered by wool. By creating this initiative, the campaign has influenced new recognition for wool as a biodegradable source & changed the demand on a huge scale internationally for many fashion designers & retailers.
