Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

Write a reviewI have this jumper in blue fleck and really like it. It is truly soft as advertised. I hover between medium and small size so am often in a quandary which size to order. The blue one is medium and is on the generous side so ordered small in the oatmeal. It arrived in super quick time so I was excited to open the pack and try on my new jumper. Sadly it was much smaller than expected and definitely not so super soft so sorry Celtic this one is on its way back to you. I have several items from Celtic and have always been pleased with the quality.
Bought this in Pillar Box Red. Sadly when it arrived it was exactly the same colour as the one I have in RUST. Seems both Pillar Box Red and Rust are the same colour. Very confusing. Returned the jumper

Good morning, we are very sorry to hear this the Pillar Box Red is a different colour than the Rust colour. A refund has been issued to you, our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. Kind regards Celtic & Co
I have this jumper in the Rust shade which I really like. Very soft wool, have worn it a couple of times, not yet washed. Nice comfortable fit but my only niggle is that the neck feels higher at the front than the back, almost like wearing it back to front. It doesn't bother me enough to send it back but it is the only Celtic & Co jumper that fits this way on me.
I chose a Medium, which fits my size 14-16 top well. The jumper is narrow and long rather than short and boxy, which is my preference. My only complaint is that the colour, despite being labelled as Deep Icelandic Blue is definitely green. I was expecting it to lean towards blue-green on the colour wheel, but it is definitely green and for that reason I need to return.
Soft knit sweater and true to size. Returned because the oatmeal fleck colour was a bit ordinary on me, nothing special about the jumper and a little overpriced I felt.
I bought the red version of this jumper last year, and love it. I'm disappointed with my recently purchased Icelandic Blue which is not as soft as the red one. I see it was made in China, and the red one was made in Portugal. This makes me question: is this a different type of wool? A different process? What's the comparative environmental/ethical footprint? Weren't all Celtic's jumpers made in the UK at one time? Has Celtic expanded and sold out?

Good afternoon, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the Icelandic Blue jumper, we will contact you directly to have this sent back to us. Kind regards Celtic & Co.
Love this jumper - can’t stop wearing it. The wool is so soft and cosy. I am generally a size 14, 5’7” and went for a medium - perfect sizing. Great length in the sleeves and body - the bottom is shaped so it isn’t baggy, but has slim silhouette, very flattering. Lots of approvals received.
Lovely soft warm jumper looks great with jeans Every jumper I have purchased from Celtic and Co has been superb quality and wash well. Minimal bobbling.
When it comes to the tale of the Princess and the Pea, I would say that royal personage has a skin like a rhinoceros in comparison to me. I can't cope with itchy wool. This is a lovely jumper, soft and very comfortable. The blue colour has a slight glow. Good length. I ordered Small which was ideal for my 10/12 frame.
Lovely and warm, soft and drapes. Only problem is it does ‘pill’ so be prepared to brush frequently. Despite that I would buy another if there were more colours
